In the June 2008 issue of Guitar World they’ve included the bass tab to “Almost Easy” and in the July 2008 issue of the 50 Fastest Shredders Synyster Gates comes in thanks to signature song “Eternal Rest” off of the bands album “Waking The Fallen”. Here’s the paragraph from the magazine:
“It’s easy for critics to dismiss Avenged Sevenfold because they look like a bunch of emo-punk kids who raided Axl Rose’s wardrobe, but no other band has done as much to introduce Generation Y to the shock and awe of a brilliant guitar solo. Also for Cam next Sunday June 8th he’ll be doing a live painting at Cinespace in Hollywood. While “The Devils Orchestra” performs for 30 to 40 minutes he’ll be painting along with them. Make sure you head out to the event and enjoy the painting, music, and drinks. It all kicks off at 9:30 pm.

That’s alright! Because Cam Rackam was just announced as the featured artist at Koos Art Center. This event takes place on June 28th in Long Beach, California and not only will Cam be headlining but there are 60 other artists that will be showing as well. We’ve been getting a few emails from kids telling us the live DVD/CD will be entitled “Road To Realization” and asking about why we havent posted about it. We haven’t posted anything since it’s still in the early ages and can be re-named very quickly and/or is just a rumor since it was posted on their Wikipedia page and Wiki. isn’t the most reliable source to begin with. We promise the second we hear something about the DVD and whether this will be the real name or not we’ll let you guys know.
In other news, we’ve surpassed 100,000 views in just under 7 months.
