Chicago, IL’s Q101.1 has announced that Avenged Sevenfold will not be performing at the 2008 Q101 Block Party.

EDIT: The Q101.1 Block Party website had an announcement on the festival page that due to an illness Avenged Sevenfold were canceling their performance. This information was pointed out to us by reader Angel. Since then the announcement has been taken down. We’ve tried to contact Q101.1 though it seems the Main Line’s voicemail box is full.

According to Matin.QC.CA tonight’s show in Quebec City has been officially postponed.
Thanks to Deathbat News reader T Mac we can also confirm that the September 10th Montreal Quebec (see the official postponement here) & September 11th Toronto Ontario (see official postponement here) dates have officially been postponed and will be rescheduled.
As far as Montreal is concerned tickets purchased for the September 10th date will be honored at the rescheduled date or you can refund your ticket at your point of purchase.
