Vengeance University have posted the following blog about a way you can help support the “One Love For Chi Fundraiser” just by buying Vengeance University merch.
my friend fieldy from korn reached out to me and showed me this awesome song he had created and collaberated on with some of our favorite artists. He did this to help out his friend Chi Cheng from the deftones who was in a terrible accident a year ago. If you can take the time to check out this link and download this free song it would be awesome of you. Every little bit helps more then you know.
We know times are hard for alot of people but we also dont think that should stop us from helping. So Vengeance University will make a donation on your behalf for every order we receive this week. Together we can all help out.
Thank you and we promise helping makes you feel good.

Back in 2008 Guitar World sat down with with Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates for road stories and guitar lessons. Earlier this month they updated their website with tons of clips of musicians praising their very first guitars and of course ZV & Syn G were included. Check out the interview clip here.
Vengeance University has posted the following on their Twitter.

After Channel 4 & Blink TV aired the Sonisphere footage which excluded performance pieces from Avenged Sevenfold’s set the the press release said would be aired, I got in touch with Head Of Production at Blink TV to see if he could give Deathbat News and our readers a statement regarding what happened. Fortunately, he did and you can read it below:
Hi Deathbat News. When we went to press with that it was bit premature as the final C4 programme was not finalised until Thursday 12th. We did not deliberately intend to mislead fans, and apologise to anyone who tuned in especially for Avenged Sevenfold. It is always hard to chose highlights from a 2 day festival when you only have a 48 minute programme, and often it is not down to how good the performance was but how well it is deemed to work for a mainstream TV audience. The programme was inevitably biased towards stage 1, not least because we simply had more cameras covering that stage – and in general, the stage 1 bands had a stronger international presence.
Unfortunately at the moment we don’t have permission to release the footage to any other parties. However we are looking into it. Believe me, we are on the side of the fans – and are hopeful that after the success of Sonisphere, the genre will get more exposure in the future.
Kind regards
The people at Sonisphere took to their Twitter to comment about the un-aired Avenged Sevenfold footage:

We have attempted to get in contact with those at Blink TV to see what has happened and if anything comes through we’ll let you guys know! Thanks to Cheryl for pointing this out to us.

Farewell to a friend
My condolences to the family of Christopher Hernandez, who left this world much too young. He was a fan of Avenged Sevenfold and his support will always be remembered. We hope he lives on as a reminder for all of our fans to be safe.
Syn
