Comment by Synthia June 11, 2010 @ 6:50 pmI hope some of these song titles are false. Jk
Comment by Synester00 June 11, 2010 @ 6:50 pmOh my, oh my! :)
If this is real… I definitely got waaay more excited.:)
Comment by Cassie June 11, 2010 @ 6:51 pmcool
Comment by jax June 11, 2010 @ 6:51 pmwell

okay we need to pay more attencion just incase if someone make another rumor of “nightmare” and A7X thank you deathbatnew to keep us inform ^_^
Comment by Michlle June 11, 2010 @ 6:51 pmvictim is almost 10 minutes long
Comment by cassie June 11, 2010 @ 6:52 pmHow do you know that?
Comment by Jacob June 11, 2010 @ 7:03 pmwtf how did you know?!?!
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 7:10 pmShadows said in an interview that the last song is 11 min long :D so.. Save me = 11 minutes
Comment by GDeskm June 11, 2010 @ 7:27 pmSo Far Away is thee 11 min long.. :)
Comment by Synlena June 11, 2010 @ 9:13 pmAnd that is the last song (so far away) so this has to be another fake.
Comment by josh June 12, 2010 @ 8:50 amthey never said so far away was 11 minutes! and they never said what the last song on the album was called!
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 6:16 pmare you the person who went to that listening party?
Comment by eh7x June 12, 2010 @ 12:24 amI believe she was, yes. This points toward this track list being correct, too
Comment by Drew June 12, 2010 @ 12:45 pmomgomgomg
Comment by dutchy6661 June 11, 2010 @ 6:53 pmthese all sound really amazing
if so, track two sounds badass!
Comment by dvengenz June 11, 2010 @ 6:53 pmLooks nice, Tonight The World Dies sounds cool even if it’s not confirmed yet
Comment by RaZoR June 11, 2010 @ 6:54 pmBut just 11 songs is kinda boring :(
Comment by RaZoR June 11, 2010 @ 6:56 pmI think we should be grateful that they are coming out with any songs at all! I mean it must be so hard to do it without your close brother who has always been there. To me 11 is better than NONE.
Comment by Stephanie Cote June 11, 2010 @ 7:01 pmI completely agree with you here, I am so pumped for the tour, getting my tickets tomorrow!
Comment by Ghostflame83 June 11, 2010 @ 7:10 pmThis is a great point that you’ve made. I also really wish they’d continue in the future. But if they decide not to I think that we’d all understand.
Comment by Aaron June 11, 2010 @ 8:16 pmAgreed, i’ll support them no matter what they choose to do in the future. ugh i hated those people who started ragging on them right away that they HAD to keep going, it was their choice and i would have understood either way, im just grateful for as far as they want to continue without their friend
foREVer
Comment by Liz June 12, 2010 @ 12:26 amI agree with you as well, we should be grateful.
Also, albums with like 19 songs tend to be too long, at least in my opinion. I want the best songs on the album, if they have other songs they can release b-sides.
Comment by E June 12, 2010 @ 11:37 am11 songs is a lot. :)
Comment by Cassie June 11, 2010 @ 7:02 pmtheyre probly all really long like COE
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 7:11 pmHow is 11 songs boring? City of Evil had 11, and the self-titled only had 10, but both are amazing albums :D
Comment by James June 11, 2010 @ 7:37 pmThey acctually did 1 song less on every album, STST=13 WTF=12 COE=11 Self-titled=10 so I was afraid they was about to put just 9 song on this album but… so 11 is awesome but as a music greedy person I really wished there was more
Comment by RaZoR June 11, 2010 @ 10:08 pmMy spoon is too big
Comment by Anonymous June 11, 2010 @ 11:27 pmYeah I was worried they were going to do 9 too. So happy with 11 XD
Comment by Scratch June 12, 2010 @ 1:33 amI never noticed that before, each album having one less song than the last! Probably coincidence though, but yeah, I see where you are coming from now :)
Though the 11 songs that are there will kick ass I’m sure :D
Comment by James June 12, 2010 @ 6:49 amwell maybe they are going back up now.. 13, 12, 11, 10, 11, 12, 13 something like that
Comment by AJ June 13, 2010 @ 10:09 amAlmost Every CD Avenged Has Been Around 11 Songs.. How Is That Boring?
Comment by Derek June 12, 2010 @ 12:03 amAll the albums before this had 11-12 songs. :)
Comment by Spiffy June 12, 2010 @ 3:51 pmDoesn’t look like much, but once you’re listening to it it’ll seem like much more. Either way, I can’t wait.
Considering their last album was only 10 songs that were all short songs for their standard apart from A Little Piece of Heaven, the fact this album is 11 songs and they are rumoured to be mostly long ones is brilliant. Not boring, I hope this album lives up to the hype which I’m sure it will.
Comment by Anonymous June 13, 2010 @ 7:36 amwell anyways the names sounds pretty cool
Comment by schecter159 June 11, 2010 @ 6:55 pmNatural Born Killer :-D
it sounds Bad. Ass.
Comment by Derek June 11, 2010 @ 6:56 pmTonight the World Dies sounds really interesting. Still, it’s going to feel like forever till its out.
Comment by Andrew June 11, 2010 @ 6:57 pmOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yea.
Comment by Chris June 11, 2010 @ 6:58 pmif this is true then that would mean that ‘Save Me’ would be the 11-minutes of epicness song that Matt talked about in that one interview. Can’t wait for this album! I have a feeling that it is going to be life changing.
Comment by Angie June 11, 2010 @ 6:58 pmhopefully some of their songs are similar to the ones on waking the fallen!
Comment by korey June 11, 2010 @ 6:59 pmMan, that’s some dark stuff…
Comment by AJ June 11, 2010 @ 6:59 pmI like the names Natural Born Killer and Welcome to the Family
anyone notice that Buried Alive and Victim are 18V songs and that Save Me and So Far Away are nickelback. haha kinda funny
Comment by Anonymous June 11, 2010 @ 7:03 pmBut this Save Me and So Far Away isn’t gonna be butt rock :D
Comment by Anonymous June 11, 2010 @ 7:13 pmSave Me is also a song by Killswitch :)
Comment by James June 11, 2010 @ 7:40 pmAnd another by Shinedown :).
Comment by Spiffy June 12, 2010 @ 3:52 pmyour thinking of “Savin’ me” and “far away” by nickelback. “save me” is a shinedown and a staind song, and “so far away” is another staind song
Comment by David Castleman June 11, 2010 @ 8:33 pm“so far away” is also social D but once this album comes out, all the songs will just be known as A7X songs :)
Comment by tyler June 11, 2010 @ 10:45 pmHELLO and Welcome to the Family is an A Day to Remember song, don’t forget to mention that =p
Comment by Liz June 12, 2010 @ 12:30 amSave Me is also a Burn Halo song lol
Comment by Jo June 12, 2010 @ 1:42 amSo Far Away is also a song by Staind
Comment by Mandy June 12, 2010 @ 11:46 am7. God Hates Us
a song about god hating us, number 7.
Comment by synystersam June 11, 2010 @ 7:03 pmirony.
XD
Im thinking Fiction/Death is the masterpiece, but we’ll just have to see if this is all true when the album comes out!!!
Comment by Ashley June 11, 2010 @ 7:06 pmI just wonder which one has Syns solo he played at a lot of concerts, maybe So Far Away? He did write that one..
Comment by Andrew June 11, 2010 @ 7:07 pmYa, that was a rumour that his solo was going to be on the record, but persoally, I don’t think it will be. Maybe it’s just a live solo? We’ll have to wait and see for ourselves
Comment by Unknown123 June 11, 2010 @ 7:12 pmI think he said in an interview he said its gonna be in one of the songs. Guess we’ll find out when the album is out.
Comment by Andrew June 11, 2010 @ 7:19 pmi hope it is man is sooooo good
Comment by eh7x June 12, 2010 @ 12:26 ami dont remember which one but, in an interview Shads said that the 2nd to last song is ‘Fiction’ and that the last one on the album is the song Syn wrote ‘so far away’
Comment by Chazzy Vengeance June 11, 2010 @ 7:09 pmthat’s not right.
Comment by synystersam June 11, 2010 @ 7:12 pmthe last one wasn’t officially named yet.
You’re wrong. They confirmed So Far Away is on the tracklisting and Fiction is the penultimate track, but not that So Far Away is the last track. The last track is an 11 minute song. I think it’d be awkward for there to be 11 songs and the last is 11 minutes…perhaps that lends to this tracklist being fake?
Victim, Natural Born Killers and Buried Alive are all very cliched…what happened to inspired A7X titles or even their early titles (looking at you, Disneyland Acid Trip).
Comment by Alley June 11, 2010 @ 7:15 pmMany of these could have had crazy tentative titles that turned into something different, just like Disneyland Acid Trip turned into Unbound (The Wild Ride). Plus, given the circumstances I don’t think they were worried about coming up with awesome song titles.
Comment by deathbatnews June 11, 2010 @ 7:22 pmFair enough, but judging by the titles, some seem far more inspired and raw than others. God Hates Us >>>> Victim (just an example).
It’s hard to take a single word out of context from a song like that, but I’m only hoping to be proven wrong anyway :)
Comment by Alley June 11, 2010 @ 9:08 pmCliched is a bit harsh don’t you think? Who really gives a rat’s ass what the song titles are as long as they kick ass and melt faces (And you know they will)
Comment by revenant June 11, 2010 @ 9:06 pmburied alive is probably that song, cause it had that really dark guitar intro.. then kicked in with rev’s solo.. idk. but it sounds like it could fit into a song called buried alive.
Comment by synystersam June 11, 2010 @ 7:18 pmso then this tracklisting would be incorrect… damn… i wanna know what interview to be sure… lol
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 7:22 pmnevermindddd
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 7:23 pmHm. This is interesting.
Comment by Alex June 11, 2010 @ 7:13 pmWe’ll just have to wait & see if it’s the real thing.
If it is, it sounds great!
I can’t wait for July 27th.
fuckin sick
Comment by broxholmeA7X June 11, 2010 @ 7:13 pmhmm….i wonder if these are real.
Comment by Livvy June 11, 2010 @ 7:17 pmi couldn’t help but notice Buried Alive and Victim are 18V songs though, lol.
i can’t wait to listen to Fiction <3
That was the first thing I noticed (18V song titles) lol and Save Me = Burn Halo too
Comment by Jo June 12, 2010 @ 1:56 amthe last song is not sppose to be “fiction?”
Comment by Matmaster June 11, 2010 @ 7:19 pmNo, it’s been said by the Matt a few times it’s the second-to-last song.
Comment by deathbatnews June 11, 2010 @ 7:20 pmand Welcome To the Family is an ADTR song, unless i’m mistaken.
Comment by synystersam June 11, 2010 @ 7:24 pmYou’re not mistaken
Comment by Aaron June 11, 2010 @ 8:19 pmSounds fake to me. Some of the names just sound so unoriginal compared to previous songs.
Comment by Jon D June 11, 2010 @ 7:41 pmI liked some of these song titles, but ”Welcome To The Family” doesn’t sound very interesting to me..
Comment by Danniel June 11, 2010 @ 7:41 pmWe’ll have to wait though
that sounds like the most interesting one to me.
Comment by yes. June 11, 2010 @ 9:21 pmWelcome to the Family is about Mike Portnoy joining the A7X family
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:24 pmNo, M. Shadows said in the latest interview that they didn’t write anymore songs after he died. It was complete before the fact.
Comment by Austio! June 14, 2010 @ 12:54 amThose are some really dark song names, pretty sick if you ask me.And does any one else hope that the live solo syn plays is a song on the album ? I mean it fits perfectly on “Nightmare”.
Comment by Julian nunez June 11, 2010 @ 7:52 pmI really hope it is. I thought it would be the intro to the album but now we know Nightmare is the first song… but it sounds like a great intro for any song.
Comment by PM7X June 12, 2010 @ 1:01 amI thought syns live solo would be like the album intro.. like Waking the Fallen.. and To End The Rapture.. o;
Comment by Jeremy June 11, 2010 @ 7:56 pmthis list seems pretty legit to me haha.
Comment by Anonymous June 11, 2010 @ 8:01 pmi think the song welcome to the family is in a video of avenged sevenfold!! jimmy tribute video (from his life when he have 12 years to 28 years)… they say the first minute welcome to the family… i think the rythm of that vid is from a song od the band pinkly smooth… the first band of jimmy
Comment by ARii5TiidEZ_PR June 11, 2010 @ 8:04 pmsorry for my bad english!… i am from puerto rico! :)
Comment by ARii5TiidEZ_PR June 11, 2010 @ 8:07 pmwasn’t his first band. Pinkly Smooth formed in 2001 with the Rev, Syn, Justin Sane, Super Loop, and someone else. A7X formed in 1999.
I’m gonna go look at the vid tho. But I doubt it. There’s not a Pinkly Smooth song called welcome to the family and A7X doesn’t usually put their songs out there early.
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 8:08 pmThe first song in the Jimmy tribute video is “Stubb (A Dubb)” by Mr. Bungle.
Comment by arielle June 11, 2010 @ 8:31 pmthats Mr. Bungle by Stubb (A Dub)
Comment by Jeremy June 11, 2010 @ 8:36 pmi can’t remember anything other than. Stubb (A Dub) by Mr. Bungle being played at the beginning of the tribute, i’m sorry.
Comment by donnie. June 11, 2010 @ 8:13 pmthe only reason I think this might be real is the fact that “God Hates Us” is the 7th track on the album, and if you look back at the picture of the soundboard they posted for that song it said “group 7″
Comment by David Castleman June 11, 2010 @ 8:36 pmtrue!
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 8:49 pmoh my god!!!!!!
Comment by brooke June 11, 2010 @ 8:39 pmi just got even more exciteeed! hopefully this is the tracklisting! :D
I can’t wait to hear God Hates Us. In an interview Zacky said that that song is a heavy song, one of the heaviest they’ve ever written
Comment by Hef June 11, 2010 @ 8:57 pmI was excited too, but I watched the making of Avenged Sevenfold DVD yesterday again, and i noticed that zacky (at least i think it was zacky) referred to Critical Acclaim as “one of the heaviest songs we’ve ever done” and im like wtttfff? ALSO on a side note i rewatched the all access DVD and watching Valary screaming on stage for “The Art of Subconscious Illusion” is THE HOTTEST THING IVE EVER SEEN! =)
Comment by David Castleman June 11, 2010 @ 9:14 pmi watched it too it was the rev who said it was one of the heaviest things they ever laid down so you never know plus syn’s dad said a while back that when he heard the album that its some of the heaviest they have done
Comment by Lewis June 12, 2010 @ 1:50 amYou’re right about Zacky saying that Critical was they’re heaviest song, but this time even Matt said the song was Pantera-Far Beyond Driven-ish. I’m a huge Pantera fan, and Far Beyond Driven is one heavy album! I’m so excited!!!!!
Comment by AJ June 12, 2010 @ 7:08 am“So Far Away” is the 11 minuet song
Comment by Echo Nightmare June 11, 2010 @ 9:05 pmI dont know the length of others ‘cept night mare.
“Welcome to the family” that title is just amazing.I hope they have a hidden track Of “Satan Sandwich”
LOL
Comment by Jeremy June 11, 2010 @ 9:23 pmSo Far Away is not the 11-minute one. They said that the last song on the album would be that long, and in the same interview did not say that So Far Away was the last, despite specifically mentioning it.
Comment by Drew June 11, 2010 @ 11:07 pmHave they actually said that “So far away” is the 11minute song? I didn’t think they’d named the 11minute song, just said that it was the last song. I could have missed something, hence why I’m asking lol
Comment by Jo June 12, 2010 @ 1:53 amwhy does everyone insist so far away being the 11 minute one?
THE LAST ONE IS THE 11 MINUTE ONE, and that one is “save me”
jeezus.
Comment by synystersam June 12, 2010 @ 7:16 amIMO the only decent sounding song title that hasn’t been confirmed is “Tonight The World Dies”. The rest sound like shit compared to previous ones lol =/
Comment by Dead Archetype June 11, 2010 @ 9:07 pmThe titles of the songs don’t matter. This isn’t even confirmed yet, so don’t get all upset because some of the titles sound like shit.
Comment by Alyssa June 12, 2010 @ 9:47 amDidnt shadows say in the metal hammer interview that the first song was like critical acclaim, that it would kick you in the face but three times that…. if so its definitely not nightmare in the 1 spot.
Comment by Adam June 11, 2010 @ 9:24 pmhe did! this is false!
Comment by Ryan June 11, 2010 @ 9:41 pmhe said that of a song, but i dont think he specified it was the first one, and also if i recall correctly i think he said 10 times =p
Comment by David Castleman June 11, 2010 @ 9:47 pmWell yea, Nightmare is definetly the first track then. It sounds like an opening song With cool intros
Comment by Agustin June 11, 2010 @ 9:55 pmI thought Nightmare kicked me in the ass. Think of the first time you heard. Didn’t that opening drum lick be the crap out of you? It did for me.
Comment by AJ June 12, 2010 @ 7:13 amYeah Nightmare definitely kicked me in the ass man. I heard that drum lick and was instantly like “HOLY FUCK!”.
Comment by Ghostflame83 June 12, 2010 @ 10:33 amNightmare is the first SONG but that instrumental that they played live could be the opener and not really count as a song.
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 7:58 pmhmmmmm
Welcome to the Family.. A Day to Remember? lol. This is fake A7X said in a recent interview that if fans thought Critical Acclaim was a punch in the face then the first song off Nightmare would be double that or something along those lines. We’ve heard Nightmare and they referenced the song as if we hadn’t heard it. This is so fake.
Comment by Anonymous June 11, 2010 @ 9:42 pmWell that interview was conducted before the song nightmare was released. And then the magazine with the interview was released after the son was released so yea we hadnt heard nightmare yet when they made that comment.
Comment by Agustin June 11, 2010 @ 10:00 pmthey already said that nightmare is going to be the first song in the album
Comment by eh7x June 12, 2010 @ 12:27 amwelcome to the family is an awesome title. unfortunatley a day to remember JUST released an album and a song with the same name.
Comment by pee pee sabathia June 11, 2010 @ 9:44 pmthe album is Homesick, but they do have a song on that album with that title
Comment by Liz June 12, 2010 @ 12:38 amAnyone else notice that each album has had one less song
Comment by zach June 11, 2010 @ 9:49 pmStst-13 songs
Wtf-12 songs
Coe-11 songs
A7x-10 songs
So this one would have 9 songs if it followed the pattern…. But I sure hope not
lmfao i never noticed that before
Comment by David Castleman June 11, 2010 @ 10:04 pmThey kinda had 9 on Diamonds In The Rough if u coutn out the remix Almost Easy and the alternate Afterlife and count in the 2 covers :P
Comment by RaZoR June 11, 2010 @ 10:23 pmActually if you really pin it down, Diamonds in the Rough had 9 tracks, not counting the two remix songs…
Comment by Drew June 11, 2010 @ 11:09 pmbut diamonds in the rough was not a studio album, just a bunch of b-sides and covers, can we even count it?
Comment by David Castleman June 12, 2010 @ 3:05 pmLol I Actually Did Notice That But Technically Diamonds In The Rough Threw That Off. Bu I Have Always Thought About How It Would Be Kinda Cool If The Kept Making Cds And Knocking One Song Off Each Time But Making The Songs Longer. And Eventually Get Down To A Cd With Only 1 Song Thats Like The Length Of An Entire CD. THat Would Be Kinda Crazy Lol
Comment by Derek June 12, 2010 @ 12:11 amYes, but this is not a normal record it´s a tribute to the rev, i a think will not follow the pattern
Comment by RuiA7X June 12, 2010 @ 2:48 amI noticed that it went from like 13-12-11-10. But I forgot that Coe had 11 songs. Lol Still kinda oddd though.
Comment by Lands. June 12, 2010 @ 6:04 amidk what to believe…
Comment by emilyA7X June 11, 2010 @ 10:25 pmcant wait!
they need to release this bad boy already! stop worrying about how many tracks there will be has avenged ever let you down
Comment by billy June 11, 2010 @ 10:37 pmoh………..my……..efin………god……mjdhguyrhguiorffithjerghwerhgfvwefjvufbklfhqioergqieughioedhvlhjdijsfvnciaerfhbqkefgbhkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjergfiowuefhyuehrfujecghrgfioqehrgyucqhermgiueriguqehrughqerghmqerngmhcbercuimthrnvcnth3n gf43rgt2rfhvntcgurjh…….i had to type out my excitement….
Comment by Metal June 11, 2010 @ 10:44 pmSo much for “Unwind the Chainsaw”. Who came up with that b.s. anyway?
Comment by Lou #83 June 11, 2010 @ 10:55 pmYeah really that was some serious BS!!!
Comment by Jonathan June 12, 2010 @ 12:44 pmUnwind the chainsaw was a title made up by fans. There might be a song with all of the same stuff that unwind the chainsaw had but we’ll just have to wait and see
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:30 pmI think this is real for sure. this is a preorder on a website, not someone claiming to be the band on vimeo. Even though it’s not official, I think these are the titles and if they are then this sounds like it will be one brutal album. excited for natural born killers, god hates us, and buried alive.
Comment by j-mac June 11, 2010 @ 11:01 pmFiction is going to be the song that gets everyone, it’s going to be such an emotioal song it is mostly Jimmy’s voice.
Comment by Amiee June 11, 2010 @ 11:01 pmYeah it will be. Even listening to Pinkly smooth, Jimmy and Syn’s other band formed in 2001 where Jimmy was the singer, is kinda hard to do now so Fiction is gonna be a touchy song for us Jimmy lovers
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:31 pmDoes anyone remember a comment Zacky made on the making of the S/T album and how they suck at making song titles. That could very well be the song list, but only as they came up with names while they were recording so they didn’t go around saying: Now we gotta record ‘Untitled number 3, and then untitled number 4.]. If you get my drift.
Comment by Marly June 12, 2010 @ 12:05 amI mean to call 6 out of 11 songs fake, is almost ridiculous especially with the tracking of “Fiction” next to last along with nightmare being the opening and according to the Vegas interview it sounds as if it was supposed to be. Sounds like a badass album to make for a hell of a summer tour.
Comment by Terrance Phifer June 12, 2010 @ 12:12 amanyone else notice tracks 3-5?
3.Danger line
4.Buried alive
5.Natural born killer

Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 1:23 amHahah, that’s a bit of a stretch there but cool none the less!
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 7:48 amdam, way to build up on the already full hype train! :D
Comment by SynysterCraig June 12, 2010 @ 1:46 amlol, so… where’s unwind the chainsaw?:P
Comment by lean99zz June 12, 2010 @ 2:22 amUnwind The Chainsaw doesn’t exist.
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 7:47 amUnwind the chainsaw was just a song made by fans
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 10:47 amMe niether, ok, lets say this is false. Put it in the way you would want it. XP A7X foREVer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by dustin June 12, 2010 @ 3:19 amThis might be false, and it might not. we’ll see.
Comment by ......... June 12, 2010 @ 3:20 amno shit
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 8:29 amthank you detective.
Comment by synystersam June 12, 2010 @ 9:31 amI accuse you of being ZV or anyone else in A7X!!!!
Comment by Seba June 12, 2010 @ 3:13 pmhahaha
We have to wait… Syn’s live solo (followed by the others) will be on the album. It sounds like the intro of the album but they said that Nightmare will be the first song. Maybe an interlude?
It’s not the band.
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 3:17 pmJust kidding… But how do you know it’s not the band?
Comment by Seba June 12, 2010 @ 3:34 pmBecause I can check the IP of where the comments come from.
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 3:35 pmHmm…you got me DBN! i was gunna see if people got excited…..kind of a sick joke now that i think of it….my bad!
Comment by Arron Johnson June 12, 2010 @ 4:25 pmhey this far in and everyone is a suspect
Comment by haley June 13, 2010 @ 9:36 amyeah and diamonds in the rough has 9 excluding the 2 bonus tracks(alternate versions) so it even goes down 1 on the b side album…..so i was expecting 8 but im gonna wait and make sure this is true
Comment by weathermangarver June 12, 2010 @ 4:03 amwould CDWOW really just make them up? I think this is legit
Comment by wikaman1 June 12, 2010 @ 4:45 amI think that “Welcome To the Family” will be the little instrumental they used to play live I think it will be an intro like Waking the Fallen of Waking the Fallen but the second track because it is an introduction to the songs that have some lyrical ties to Jimmy, but maybe im looking to much into it
Comment by Mara June 12, 2010 @ 4:58 amWelcome To The Family is most likely about Portnoy joining the A7X family. That interview where that was with portnoy tells me that
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:35 pm“So far away”=lyric to I won’t see you tonight part 1. Possible part 3?
Comment by John June 12, 2010 @ 5:52 am“So Far Away” is a song that Syn wrote for Jimmy, so I doubt it. Although that would be pretty awesome :)
Comment by Spiffy June 12, 2010 @ 4:11 pmRealistically, if someone at CD WOW has the CD and the real track listing then they would have leaked it by now!
Comment by Colin June 12, 2010 @ 6:45 amI think all these songs sound sick, i got my tickets yesterday, i’m pumped.
Comment by Noah Thomas June 12, 2010 @ 7:02 amThis is what M.Shadows said in January “HOW IS THE ALBUM SHAPING UP SO FAR?
Comment by Daniel V June 12, 2010 @ 7:52 am“We have about 20 ideas, with about 13 complete songs. Right now we’re writing about two songs a week, working our butts off. Last time we only put 10 songs but we’ll have a lot more this time – it’ll probably be as bid as City Of Evil, like 75 minutes. So far, it sounds more like classic metal; it’s old school, thrashy and its heavier with more solos. Lyrically and musically it will have a conceptual feel. There’s talk of doing a track that encompasses each of the others for example, and of doing reprises and interludes and little things like that. We’re trying to do something really fun and cool.””
then the world went dark…
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 8:40 amwhat?
Comment by synystersam June 12, 2010 @ 9:30 amjimmy died before this interview
Mmmm… Pretty interesting… These 2 songs Matt was talking about are So Far Away and “The Last One (11 minutes-long)”.
Comment by Seba June 12, 2010 @ 3:18 pmI think the new album will have 13 songs, what is very cool.
I dont know if you noticed, but look at this:
1. Nightmare –> Confirmed Track
2. Welcome To The Family –> A Day To Remember
3. Danger Line –> Confirmed Track
4. Buried Alive –> Black Sabbath
5. Natural Born Killer –> Brides Of Destruction
6. So Far Away –> Confirmed Track
7. God Hates Us –> Confirmed Track
8. Victim –> Esmee Denters
9. Tonight The World Dies
10. Fiction –> Confirmed Track
11. Save Me –> Queen
This tracklist is oobviusly FAKE, they almost used other band’s song names for all songs that aren’t confirmed…
Comment by Frank June 12, 2010 @ 8:24 amUm, you’re aware that bands are allowed to have the same song names as one another right?
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 8:25 amHe means that every track name(except for the confirmed ones) is from another band and that means that the tracklisting is obviously FAKE..The store desperately wanted to make a tracklist so they just took some songs from different bands to create one.
Comment by Kresto June 12, 2010 @ 8:36 amIm well aware of what he means, but I can go take any bands album and start searching the song titles for other bands that have the same ones. It’s not a legit argument to say that it’s fake just because other bands have the same song names.
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 8:38 amBut is one possibility, I think this is totally fake… that’s all
Comment by Frank June 12, 2010 @ 8:42 amOf course it could be fake, that’s why it’s just a rumor for now.
Comment by deathbatnews June 12, 2010 @ 8:48 ami would put money on this that this is real
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 9:56 amThat i was trying to say -.-
Comment by Frank June 12, 2010 @ 8:40 amyeah Burn Halo also have a song called Save me
Comment by SynysterCraig June 12, 2010 @ 8:27 amThat has to be the most ….. theory i’ve ever heard, you can take any band’s album and find a different band that used that song title.
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 9:27 amOther bands can have the same song titles. Other bands had Afterlife as a song title and so did A7X
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:36 pmjust cause you said this your prolly gonna feel like a dick if it turns out to be real
Comment by zach June 13, 2010 @ 7:11 pmI think the list is fake, because nightmare is not the first song in the album, shadows said that the first song will be much better that critical acclaim, and he said this after the release of nightmare
Comment by RuiA7X June 12, 2010 @ 9:14 amYea, but the interview may have taken place before nightmare was released. Just like how that walmart soundcheck interview wont be posted until july even though it took place yesterday
Comment by Sean June 12, 2010 @ 9:36 amwell guys, atleast we can be thankful that A7X doesn’t make song titles that are stupid as shit.
IE: Attack Attack!-Smokahontas, Sexual Man Chocolate
ADTR- I’m made of wax Larry, what are you made of?
MCR- It’s Not A Fashion Statement, It’s A Fucking Deathwish
TDWP-HTML Rulez d00d
not saying those bands are bad, just that they have some fucking stupid song titles, and A7X doesn’t.
Comment by synystersam June 12, 2010 @ 9:36 amthose titles are great.
Comment by yes. June 12, 2010 @ 11:19 amI can honestly say TDWP has the funniest/most ridiculous song titles I’ve ever heard. Goats on a Boat? I was horrified when I first read them. xD
Comment by Spiffy June 12, 2010 @ 4:16 pmBut on the contrary, I think the music is a lot more important than the song titles.
”It’s Not a Fashion Statement, It’s a Deathwish” is a great title.
Comment by Danniel June 12, 2010 @ 4:26 pmEh really not diggin most of these song titles. They just sound very plain, like they don’t stir up much imagery in my head when I read them.
Comment by A7XEric June 12, 2010 @ 10:04 amM.Shadows said”There is a 11minuet track named”SO FAR AWAY” written by Snynyster here” Gp back and read it its on this website
Comment by Echo Nightmare June 12, 2010 @ 10:13 amNo. He said in the Metal Hammer interview that there is an 11-minute album-closing track, and then at another point in the interview talked about So Far Away. No connection between the two.
Comment by Drew June 12, 2010 @ 10:46 amwhat happened to unwind the chainsaw? i loved that song title. if these are the real tracks they sound sick
Comment by Justin June 12, 2010 @ 10:39 amunwind the chainsaw is fake
Comment by synacky June 12, 2010 @ 10:57 ami am going to base my opinion of the album by the song titles. nice job guys
Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 10:46 amWhy are people fretting so much about the track titles? This is just a rumour, and nothing has been confirmed as of right now. This whole list could still possibly change. I am just going to wait until the band confirms it themselves.
Comment by Alyssa June 12, 2010 @ 11:18 amA few tracks have been confirmed. Danger Line, God Hates Us, Fiction, So Far Away and Nightmare have all been confirmed
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:39 pmI still hope one of them songs is the live solo syn played last tour. And I heard an interview and Matt said that Nightmare IS the opening track, and it does kick me in the balls as soon as the heavy bit comes in!
Comment by FretMuppet June 12, 2010 @ 12:30 pmCan’t wait to hear fiction. I hope that’s the next single that they release or God Hates Us
Comment by Hef June 12, 2010 @ 1:15 pmIm the one who came up with the “unwind the chainsaw” joke. I still cant believe how far it went.It took for this real album to come out to finally make people realize it was made up even though I came out so many times saying it wasnt real. It started as just an innocent prank I played on my friend thats all.
Comment by Agustin June 12, 2010 @ 1:34 pmThat was low!!!! lol but it was good i bet ur laughing ur ass of right now! You got like almost the whole fan base to believe it!!! Usually i would get mad but u really did a good job with that. I swear i believed that was the album name since about this time last year!!
Comment by Jonathan June 12, 2010 @ 4:37 pmYou guys realized that Shadows confirmed the track “Victim” in his radio interview with q101, right?
Comment by LeftyGates June 12, 2010 @ 2:09 pmI just went and listened to that interview (the May 20th one, I’m assuming you’re speaking of), and he made no mention of any tracks other than Nightmare, and I’m pretty sure the word “Victim” was never spoken at all.
Now, I personally think that this list is real, but I just know that he didn’t confirm that title in the Q101 interview
Comment by Drew June 12, 2010 @ 7:30 pmProbably is real, I remember a list of the self titled coming out before it was released, that’s how I knew I downloaded every song off of Limewire…. bad of me, but I will not do it for this album and if I do I’ll have it on CD too!
Comment by Anonymous June 13, 2010 @ 7:38 amdoes no one see the first word in this post- RUMOR!!!! its not confirmed so please stop bitching.sorry but come on
Comment by a7xforever99 June 12, 2010 @ 2:11 pm[...] RUMOR: “Nightmare” Tracklisting. CD WOW have put Avenged Sevenfold’s “Nightmare” up for pre-order. And along with it? A track-list for [...] [...]

Comment by Anonymous June 12, 2010 @ 6:19 pmyo i still want to know IS THERE GONNA BE ANY FREAKIN SCREAMING???
Comment by luke June 12, 2010 @ 7:27 pmWe’re not 100% sure about the screaming, but several people got the chance to hear the album and for songs such as “God Hates Us” they said that it really goes back to their roots and old A7X fans will be pleased to hear it. Sounds promising
Comment by FretMuppet June 13, 2010 @ 2:28 amAwwww really? Knowing that I really can’t wait to hear God Hates Us. My anticipation for the new album is eating me alive lol
Comment by Hef June 13, 2010 @ 4:42 pm1. Nightmare (confirmed, track number 1)
2. Welcome To The Family
3. Danger Line (confirmed track)
4. Buried Alive
5. Natural Born Killer
6. So Far Away (confirmed track, drums probably written by Portnoy since it was made after the Rev died)
7. God Hates Us (confirmed, heaviest song to date)
8. Victim
9. Tonight The World Dies (badass title)
10. Fiction (Rev’s masterpiece, confirmed)
11. Save Me (11 minute song, personal a7x favourite)
the others are a part of the original concept album plan. That is, if these track names are true. The names give me a hint its gonna be heavy
Comment by FretMuppet June 13, 2010 @ 2:36 amI agree, ‘Tonight The World Dies’ sounds awesome.
Comment by chris June 13, 2010 @ 9:10 amSo Far Away is written by Synyster Gates.

Comment by Derek June 13, 2010 @ 12:12 pmi checked on cd wow and on the united kingdom setting thing, is has the track listing but it has the nightmare single as the album cover. when i switched to the united states setting, it did not have the track listing or a cover.
im not sure if that has to do with anything but im just gonna throw that in there.
Comment by Kaylee June 13, 2010 @ 1:47 pmAfter reading the recent interview with Mike Portnoy I could totally see track 2 as an option. “Welcome to the Family” is so fitting of the situation
Comment by Terrance Phifer June 13, 2010 @ 2:47 pmI don know if you guys know this already but the rev has a tattoo FICTION on his Chest down like this F it definitely means something. I noticed

Ye everyones seen his tattoo. It was his nickname.
Comment by Agustin June 14, 2010 @ 9:12 amYeah Shadows said they Changed the title from “Death” to “Fiction” because it was like the rev’s last hoorah and since Fiction represented him and was tatooed on him, they changed the title.
Comment by tannnneerrrrr June 14, 2010 @ 2:51 pmThis tracklisting is 100% real. A7X has this same tracklisting along with the full album cover on their site. Except that the tracks on theirs is switched around from this one
Comment by Hef June 15, 2010 @ 2:31 am
