Possible “Nightmare” Album Run Time Announced.

A large German based online shop JPC have added “Nightmare” on their website with the track-listing as well as the possible run times for each song. If correct, the album would clock in at around 66 minutes.

NOTE: In the interview with Zacky he said, “The whole album is, I think maybe 81 minutes long.” Please keep in mind that this not official and could possibly be missing things.

I know people will take this the wrong way, but I cant control others opinion so here it goes… While Jimmy was my favorite drummer in any genre, most of the songs he wrote are the ones I dislike the most. He was extremely gifted musician, he’s just not my cup O’tea outside of his drumming.
Comment by Ed June 27, 2010 @ 3:42 pmI’ve got no problem with what you’re saying,you’re perfectly entitled to have your own opinion.I personally love all the songs,from A-Z, so I don’t think I want to listen to Fiction because he wrote it.Overall,with all the heavy guitars and stuff,my favorite song is still “Seize the Day”.I’m a ballad type of person,so I’m waiting for “So Far Away” and this (even though it’s not very much of a ballad).Plus,I do want to hear Jimmy’s final vocals.

Sony DADC accepts these masters and happily makes the CD’s for them.

There really isn’t that much of a difference between 66 and 81 minutes. What is the big deal really? We should all be happy they had at least made and are putting out the CD no matter how long it is!!!

Since the song was long, I thought ‘Fiction’ would as well. Also, both of Jimmy’s masterpieces are second to last: 9. A Little Piece of Heaven / 10. Fiction

M. Shadows did mention that the LAST two songs are the longest on the album, he might have referred to the last songs recorded. ‘Save Me’ and ‘Lost It All’ must have been the two last songs recorded. ‘Save Me’ runs 11 minutes, so on the standard Nightmare album it must be 66 minutes total. The iTunes Japanese bonus ‘Lost It All’ must be yet another long song to sum up those 81 minutes that Zacky said. I could be wrong.

Shadows said way back in November that it would be as big as City of Evil, around 75:00. and then Zacky said around 81:00. So it’s weird if it’s 66, although its still gonna be kickass!! it says Japan-Import, which means that the japanese will get bonus tracks… why don’t we??
I reported that here two weeks ago. Also, there’s a rumor that the iTunes edition of “Nightmare” may include a bonus track so we don’t know that we wont just yet.

I think if the album is 81 minutes, it would definately include some bones trakcs or other things. I dunno. But for now, we will just have to go off this until something is really confirmed.

City of Evil is 72:53 so I’ll give you that this album isn’t as long as city of evil on average, (thats IF these times are correct, if what ZV said in an interview is true it would be longer)
and the Self Titled is 53:04, making it the shortest album to date, and this album being MUCH longer with only 1 more song.
I’m not even going to entertain diamonds in the rough because it is NOT a studio album.
So as you can see the tracks have gotten progressively LONGER with each album with the exception of the self titled.

a7x, i hope you read this. i really need a new single. badly, im a die hard fan, and cant stand the wait. i know its alot to ask, but do you think you could release a new single? im not saying i want a specific song, like i need fiction or god hates us. but a7x, if youre out there, can you please release one??????????thanks if you are listening!!!!!!! and i hope you take it into consideration.

Cuz in the rock sound interview they said Victim was seven and a half minutes. and we all know that Save Me is 11 mins. the bonus tracks (Lost It All, plus 1 or 2 more) probably add up to around 12 mins I’m guessing. so then the album would be like 78 mins like COE which is close to ZV’s estimate and the M. Shadows thing from Kerrang last year.

I think 666 is just “decorative”, it hasn’t a hidden meaning.

Don’t get me wrong, I love epic-length songs (especially from A7X) but most of them have 3 minutes that I feel should’ve been cut. Most of these appear to be 5, 6 minutes which I feel is just right.

Comment by Anonymous June 28, 2010 @ 11:04 ami remember Good Charlotte came out with an album where the last song actually ran a good 20 minutes, and in the middle of the silence, of the last 10 minutes, a song started to play randomly. this cud be what they are doing on the last song? this way it isnt listed as a track, but its still on the album. probably, the song Lost It All.

A7X has never done it but there is a first time for everything, but knowing them I doubt it, I bet the last song really is 11 minutes of bloody epicness.

Comment by deen June 28, 2010 @ 7:07 pmtheres a hidden track on saturate, we are not alone, and phobia. i dont remember the name of the track on saturate. the one on we are not alone is a different version of the song “rain” incorporating the full band rather than the acoustic version on the regular album. the one on phobia is just an acoustic version of diary of jane. so the only new track is the one on saturate, it starts playing immediately after shallow bay ends, i forget the title, its a softer ballad like track, its nothing too special but its alright.
