I think they’ll play a few of the new album songs, but they’ll play some old popular ones too, I’m sure. Nightmare is already insanely popular, they aren’t a up and coming band who needs to showcase their latest work.
im just gonna put the songs ill think they will play
Unholy Confessions
Bat Country
Beast and the Harlot
Afterlife
Almost Easy
Nightmare
Welcome to the Family
Dangerline
Buried Alive
Natural Born Killer
So Far Away
God Hates Us
Tonight the World Dies
13 songs but idk
(they said the wouldnt play fiction cause u cant really play it live, and Save me, and Victim seem a bit to long for a live show)
But 13 songs seems to long for a live show maybe 11
Dude.. Mike Portnoy is used to playing crazy weird time signatures and 20 minute-long songs with Dream Theater, A7X songs are not even a challenge to him. No disrespect to the Rev’s drumming, but Portnoy plays some of the hardest stuff out there.

they will not be playing songs from the other albums i highly highly doubt my friends…. they will play most likely almost all the new songs save maybe two or three but i personally wish they would play afterlife in jimmys memory
Someone asked them in an interview if they were going to play songs from previous albums and I believe Matt’s exact response was “oh hell yeah!” I don’t know why people think they are going to play nothing but the new album…
yeah I remember that interview too… but hey, I won’t be disappointed if they don’t, even though this will be the first concert of theirs that i have had the chance to go to, I am happy to just to be able to see them live

hey dbn…do you help out other fan sites or no? cause another one pretty much copies what you do on a regular basis. just wondering if you know them or if they are just ripping you off.
For the people who say that a7x is only going to be playing their songs off “Nightmare”..Thats totally wrong. A7X knows what theyre fans want (not saying this album won’t kick ass because it will ) and we fans want to hear old stuff such as unholy confessions, second heartbeat, beast and the harlot, afterlife, etc. They will probably play two songs off nightmare, three tops. I’m still not sure whether they are going to open up with nightmare or critcal acclaim but ive been thinking about it and its probably gonna be nightmare.
Possible Setlist:(Similar to LBC)
1 – Nightmare
2 – Second Heartbeat
3 – Afterlife
4 – Bat Country
5 – Beast and the Harlot
6 – Scream
7 – Seize the day or Ballad from new album
8 – Almost Easy
9 – Critical Acclaim
10 – Gunslinger (possibly Danger Line)
11 – Unholy Confessions
12 – A Little Piece of Heaven (Wont be an encore because disturbed is the last band, still pissed about that )
This is just a guess. Most likely wrong lol
they will play a lot of nightmare that I promise and they probably won’t play any songs that jimmy sang on, hence a little piece of heaven or critical acclaim. They probably will play i won’t see you tonight as well.
Im going to the concert july 30th in CT. They wont play alot of Nightmare because then the concert wouldnt be that great. Would you rather hear Seize the day or So far away? I mean come on… Seize the day is the one of the best metal ballads of all time, you can not top seize the day
lol yeah man keep dreaming. Your probably gonna hear possibly bat country, dear god, beast and the harlot, unholy confessions, afterlife, gunslinger, sieze the day, or almost easy……besides any of those your mainly gonna hear the nightmare album. Every band does it.

not to come off as an asshole, but….way wrong. the only way they would play critical acclaim is if they played it after a slow song, and the went into the keyboard.and they will play more songs off of nightmare than any other album.they’re not touring greatest hits, they’re touring “Nightmare”
and the only reason you put dangerline with gunslinger is because the songs about soldiers. the songs could be totally differnt.
Its funny how you think you know everything. I put out a setlist that i think they are gonna play and you jump on my back like youve had a conversation with shadows himself. lmao go home
-Nightmare (Yes)
-Second Heartbeat (Possibly)
-Afterlife (Yes)
-Bat Country (Yes)
-Beast and the Harlot (Yes)
-Scream (No)
-Ballad (Yes)
-Almost Easy (Yes)
-Critical Acclaim (No, Jimmy sings the chorus)
-Gunslinger (No) Danger Line (Possible)
-Unholy Confessions (No) Should be God Hates us
-A Little Piece of Heaven ( No, because Jimmy sings)
But your setlist needs a few more songs from the new album.
Definitely, very underrated. But i don’t think they’re able to because of the changes in instruments. From Electric Guitars to acoustic. Plus they need a second person to play the other half of the Guitar duel.
I’m sure mikes practiced and learned avenged songs during his free time, while on tour with dream theater. like before shows. Also i think they’ll play old and new, but prolly 5-6 songs off nightmare. The big question is what r they gunna do at the shows to honor jimmy?!?!?!?
i would love to hear some of the city of evil songs that they haven’t played since that tour. just one of these would be fine:
Burn it Down
Trashed and Scattered
Strength of the World
MIA
It would be so cool if when they played so far away if papa gates game out and played with his son, whatever happens these upcoming shows will be great.
The defos:
Unholy Confession
Bat Country
Beast and the Harlot
Afterlife
Almost Easy
Nightmare
They the ones you can bet your grandmothers on..
Rest? who knows? We can just speculate
I know they will NOT be play ALPOH and Fiction though, they said it in an interview
