Comment by Kiston. July 28, 2010 @ 7:14 amYeah! I’ll have my Avenged shirt :)
and I don’t live in GA.. I live in TN. I’m just traveling to Alabama and GA to see them :D
Comment by Hannah July 28, 2010 @ 9:02 amlol how are they not gonna play Unholy Confessions??? rest assured they will.
Comment by WARNERVE6661 July 27, 2010 @ 5:39 pmIll be at Atl for uproar too btw
they gave the crowd the choice, Unholy Confessions or God Hates Us and they got a bigger response to Unholy Confessions so they said they’d play that. I think it was their intent all along tho.
Comment by Elin July 27, 2010 @ 8:08 pmcool. i’m going to the one in Alabama too. ;)
Comment by alissa July 27, 2010 @ 7:59 pmvery short set but great choice of songs!!! needs more waking the fallen
Comment by vengeanceisasyn July 27, 2010 @ 5:12 pmoh damnit…
Comment by rudy... July 27, 2010 @ 5:13 pmi wanna hear
danger line
i would kill four hear it </3
btw beast and the harlot… good!
They need to cut Almost Easy already! so many better songs to close with and play instead.
Comment by Tommy July 27, 2010 @ 5:15 pmI know! To be honest, almost easy is my least favorite A7X song.
Comment by Ase7enX July 27, 2010 @ 5:59 pmlol thats pretty ignorant then or youre just into ballads
Comment by broxholmeA7X July 27, 2010 @ 6:16 pm…That’s the most ignorant statement I’ve ever seen here, broxholme. Plenty of people, including myself, would love to see them change it up a little, as they’ve played Almost Easy at the end of their shows about as many times as I’ve heard it on the damn radio. It’s not a bad song, but it’s overplayed and there are so many better choices. It doesn’t have to be a ballad, and it doesn’t have to be ‘ignorant’ of us to want to hear something a little different now and then. Shoo, troll.
Comment by Ryan Maldonado July 27, 2010 @ 6:50 pmin my opinion almost easy just doesnt sound a7x to me. i still like it but it is one of my least favorites. and no im not just into ballads.
Comment by Hayden July 27, 2010 @ 10:07 pmalmost easy doesnt sound like a7x? are you retarded?
Comment by walnuts July 28, 2010 @ 7:46 amI agree. I wouldn’t say it’s my LEAST favorite, but they have SO many better ones to choose from. I mean, if they wanted to have 2 songs from their self titled why not Scream instead? To be honest though I’d like to hear more than just 1 song from City of Evil and Waking the Fallen… I mean, why not Bat Country? They can’t take that out of their set can they? Or Secord Heartbeat, you know what I mean?
Comment by Dante Phoenix July 28, 2010 @ 1:40 amGod Hates Us and Eternal Rest should find its way on there.
Comment by Dalton July 27, 2010 @ 5:15 pmAGREED! But i would LOVE
Comment by Jeremy July 27, 2010 @ 9:02 pmTO SEE
DESECRATE THROUGH REVERENCE.
i believe its never been done live :(
or we come out at night <3
Comment by adama7x July 28, 2010 @ 1:22 amSeriousslyy?? wheres god hates us?? thats such a short playlist this suckkkkss:(
Comment by Ali July 27, 2010 @ 5:17 pmthey only had 40 minutes. I’m hoping Friday’s is longer. But they claimed they were giving us the choice between God Hates Us and Unholy Confessions and the crowd went more crazy for Unholy Confessions
Comment by Elin July 27, 2010 @ 8:10 pmJust say them. All i can say is “EPIC”
Comment by Bri July 27, 2010 @ 5:18 pmSorry just “saw” them xD
Comment by Bri July 27, 2010 @ 5:19 pmDBN, any idea how long Avenged has on stage for Uproar?
Comment by Ryan July 27, 2010 @ 5:18 pmI know that on the Rockstar Uproar website for my date it has Avenged going on at 8:35 and Disturbed going on at 9:55.
Comment by deathbatnews July 27, 2010 @ 5:25 pmSo A7X is for sure going before Disturbed? Yes! (sorry, I don’t like Disturbed. I’ll just leave after A7X lol) And that’s about an hour long set, leaving 20 mins to set up for Disturbed. Good length!
Comment by Paige July 27, 2010 @ 5:40 pmFor the Birmingham date yes, I don’t know about all of the others.
Comment by deathbatnews July 27, 2010 @ 5:44 pmWhat would be the reason for them sometimes changing it? Just curious.
Comment by Paige July 27, 2010 @ 5:48 pmBecause it’s a co-headlining tour.
Comment by deathbatnews July 27, 2010 @ 5:52 pmlol Right. I’ve never been to these kinds of concerts. Mine’s the second show of the whole tour, so we’ll see how that goes. Thanks!
Comment by Paige July 27, 2010 @ 5:53 pmlol, lots of love for the birmingham date on here!! thats the one I’m going to as well, I can’t wait. they cancelled the huntsville show last year so I’m glad they’re finally coming!!
Comment by Anonymous July 27, 2010 @ 11:46 pmwait… they aren’t headlining???
Comment by niki July 27, 2010 @ 5:19 pmCo-Headling
Comment by Nikki V July 27, 2010 @ 5:36 pmDisturbed seems to closing the show 99% of the time though.
I hope they play so far away or god hates us in atlanta
Comment by Kenny July 27, 2010 @ 5:22 pmsecond heartbeat would have been better than unholy confessions
Comment by leo July 27, 2010 @ 5:23 pmFuckin’ amazing!!! I cant wait to see you guys in Tempe!!!
Comment by Brittany July 27, 2010 @ 5:24 pmSame here… I will be at that show!
Comment by Ginger July 27, 2010 @ 6:38 pmwait, wait, wait.
Comment by Dalton July 27, 2010 @ 5:28 pmso disturbed gets more time then avenged?!
thats bullshit!
Why is it bullshit? because you like Avenged better then Disturbed? I love Avenged but Disturbed is a bigger band in terms of popularity up until this point…that may change however.
Comment by R-pal July 27, 2010 @ 8:22 pmthey should get equal set times. disturbed has fizzled out through the past years. for some reason people have been less and less interested in them. it used to be badass to say i listen to disturbed. now it’s not as big of a deal anymore
Comment by adama7x July 28, 2010 @ 1:21 amthey should drop Buried Alive and Almost Easy and add something like Second Heartbeat, Afterlife or Bat Country
Comment by LittleMissRESENTMENT July 27, 2010 @ 5:31 pmSecond Heartbeat For Sure <3
Comment by Ty July 27, 2010 @ 6:50 pmYES! Welcome to the Family is being played! They should play God Hates Us, but it’s their decision and I respect it. :) At least they’re playing.
Comment by Hailey July 27, 2010 @ 5:40 pmDBN! Avenged Sevenfold is perfmoming 31 July with Limp Bizkit right? Do you know if theres 2 stages or the bands will be peforming at the same one?
Comment by gabriel July 27, 2010 @ 5:45 pmThere are two stages
Comment by Austin July 27, 2010 @ 8:13 pmThanks a lot my boy
Comment by gabriel July 27, 2010 @ 10:08 pmI’m sure they will edit the set list according to what the fans are digging the most from the album.. and go off that, along with what are always crowd pleasers, etc.
Comment by Arielle July 27, 2010 @ 5:50 pmThey could play Save Me 3.5 times in that time period.
Comment by Francis July 27, 2010 @ 6:01 pmmaybe they are waiting for us to remember the lyrics (or get a bit more familiarized with the new material)
Comment by Pieri July 27, 2010 @ 6:05 pmI’m sure as time goes, they will even out the new and the old (:
Personally, I think they should cut Critical Acclaim. It’s been in the set for three years and has a lot of qualities similar to Nightmare.
Comment by 'Redman July 27, 2010 @ 6:15 pmI am going to Kansas City and Omaha shows. Cant wait to hear all these songs and God Hates Us live. Pits are gonna be epic for that song!
Comment by Tom July 27, 2010 @ 6:27 pmWhy is it so short?
Comment by Thomas July 27, 2010 @ 6:52 pmthis was so short cuz Mayhem let them onto the Main Stage so that they could play on the day of the release. They were not headlining and they were before Rob Zombie and Korn.
Comment by Elin July 27, 2010 @ 8:12 pmCritical Acclaim is more of a set opener, seems a bit out of place going second but it’s still great to hear live
Comment by Brandyn July 27, 2010 @ 6:53 pmSweet
Comment by EmilyA7X July 27, 2010 @ 7:00 pmhopefully they do more for uproar
I hate to ask the question.
But does anyone know who is doing the singing on the chorus of Critical Acclaim?
Comment by Ryan'O July 27, 2010 @ 7:06 pmthey play the recording of the Rev’s vocals during the chorus. its sad. there is a video on youtube of the heavy mtl show they played few days ago. they all pointed to the sky when the chorus came on. it was really interesting to watch
Comment by Neil July 27, 2010 @ 7:33 pmthey did much the same tonight. Just about every time Rev’s vocals were going on the track they were pointing up, looking up, or the crowd was. It was a bit difficult but I’m so proud of them anyway. Jimmy was definitely enjoying it and the guys said he was there too.
Comment by Elin July 27, 2010 @ 8:14 pmHey DBN can you tell a7x or Jacobson to play victim or danger line at the uproar festival
Comment by Anonymous July 27, 2010 @ 7:16 pmGreat, I might not get my BON until TWO WEEKS.
Comment by Max July 27, 2010 @ 7:57 pmanyone know what store i can go to in order to get the avenged sevenfold revolver magazine? i cant order it online and alot of places only had the mayhem issues still. any help would be greatly appreciated
Comment by Kyle C. July 27, 2010 @ 8:28 pmTry a Guitar Center(:
Comment by foREVer July 27, 2010 @ 9:29 pmDbn where do u find the set times for the uproar concerts?
Comment by Florentine July 27, 2010 @ 8:42 pmWow only 40 minutes.
Comment by Phil A7X July 27, 2010 @ 9:14 pmHopefully Friday’s stream lasts longer!
I know! I was bummed it was only 40, but I’m crossing my fingers for an hr or more on Friday! The show could go all night, its a friday night! :o)
Comment by Elin July 27, 2010 @ 9:19 pmBadass photos and setlist
Comment by Pyrometalhead July 27, 2010 @ 9:21 pmthank you on the photos :o)
Comment by Elin July 28, 2010 @ 6:13 amHopefully Friday’s stream is longer!
Comment by Phil A7X July 27, 2010 @ 9:25 pmEverybody that is saying thongs about them playing “Almost Easy”, please be quiet, maybe it has significance to them. And if you were a true A7X fan or an Avenged Sevenfold Eternal Solidier of The Deathbat Army, you would really appreciate them playing it.
Comment by foREVer July 27, 2010 @ 9:28 pmJohnny looks like a fly with those shades
Comment by JIK July 27, 2010 @ 9:30 pmdream setlist: radiant eclipse. dtr. iwsytp2. the wicked end. unbound. god hates us. welcome to the family. victim. so far away. what a dream thatd be
Comment by cjd July 27, 2010 @ 9:30 pmi would kill to see IWSYT2 live,God Hates Us would be more awesome live too
Comment by me July 28, 2010 @ 7:47 amIs it just me or does Shadows look like the only one semi-energetic and excited to be there? Everyone else just looks like they’re going through the paces.. I know it’s ridiculously hard for them to tour without Jimmy but i’ve seen them 4 times and this just doesn’t look the same :( I’m hoping it’s just because they’re pictures and not videos..
Comment by RadiantlySomber July 27, 2010 @ 9:48 pmThe other guys were a bit more on the serious side, however I wouldn’t say they weren’t energetic in a more serious manner. I do have a video of Nightmare and a small one from almost easy, but its a brand new camera and it didn’t transfer with the pics and I need to figure out how to get them off the camera.
Comment by Elin July 28, 2010 @ 6:12 amthey playd little peice of heaven at the end one of the shows i want an when buck cherry came on i left cuz i already seen them an they were the last one plus lsat time i seen was 08 before the rev died so i cant complain
Comment by Anonymous July 27, 2010 @ 10:16 pmFuckin aye. I can’t wait for Uproar. Disturbed is going to be the last band at my city, so the guy’s set will probably be shorter but it’ll still be the night of my life.
Comment by VixenVengeance July 27, 2010 @ 11:33 pmHannah I’ll be at BOTH of the same shows as you ! In AL I will be working the Roadrunner booth, and in ATL I have VIP and PIT !
Comment by Brantley July 27, 2010 @ 11:37 pmSo far im pretty upset with the first two setlists revealed, but im gonna go out on a limb and say its because of time cnstraints and them not being the final act of the night. But I would prefer a bit more “Nightmare” I seen the old stuff Live. Just a thought.
Comment by Terrance Phifer July 27, 2010 @ 11:43 pmI think the first two show back they felt they had to do more older stuff because a good portion of fans wouldn’t have gotten their hands on Nightmare or had enough time to listen to it, especially last night if they’d only picked it up on their way to Mayhem. While I think they will continue to have old songs on the setlist, I am hoping that they will add a few more from Nightmare. I’ll be at the show Friday, so I’ll let ya know if they add more new.
Comment by Elin July 28, 2010 @ 6:43 amfuck they don’t need to play beast and the harlot ! i rather them play something else to be honest. don’t get me wrong it’s a fucking amazing song but i feel like they really need to showcase some of their other stuff.
Comment by adama7x July 28, 2010 @ 1:19 amreally hope they add some of the new songs to the set list when they play here in Tampa … So many wonderful songs to choose from..

Pingback by Top Posts — WordPress.com July 28, 2010 @ 5:05 pmI went to this show & thought Avenged was AMAZING! Sure the set felt as tho something was missing but given that this was only the 2nd show they’ve done without Jimmy, they did an awesome job! I think the most eerily coolest thing was during their set up, the drums were covered with a black sheet until seconds before they came on.. but the sun sat on the drums that whole time too. It was cool & sad at the same time. I am proud of our boys for getting back out there!
