Chris Epting and his daughter Claire are in the Top 3 to win a trip to Antarctica and he has made a video for Deathbat News to share with you all as a thank you for all the fans who have voted. You don’t even know ANYTHING about their fanbase, you’re just basing your judgment on the fact that we watched a video about their landmarks, and that doesn’t mean all of us are ”little children”.

The post says if they win the trip they’ll make a video set “Save Me” and put an Avenged Sevenfold flag in Antartica. This video is an Avenged Sevenfold landmark video. Also, it’s set to “Tonight The World Dies” and not “Victim.”

I have bought all their albums been to shows and have probably supported them more than any of you have. But the fact that you kids think its more than music is truly sad. I remember once on Twitter a fan asked Syn’s father how it feels to know his son makes music that saves peoples lives..and his response was something like “i think it is pretty pathetic. The band is what you call “media trained” so they have to say they love their fans so you can keep buying their stuff.

Seriously though, you’re not supporting the band, far from it actually. I believe it’s “more” than music because being an A7X fan is like a lifestyle. When you’re a big fan, it impacts your life because we are all like family. A7X aren’t just guys who make music, they’re people too, and we love them. We’ve been through Jimmy’s death together, and to feel that emotion is more than just music.

I know him, and he has nothing but the utmost respect for Avenged Sevenfold and their fans. This would be a great opportunity for his daughter and he’s being selfless enough to turn it into something for Avenged Sevenfold fans as well.

Dude… have you paid attention to this site over the past few months? That guys does a lot to get A7X out to different audiences. He did huge pieces about how great of a person Jimmy was when he passed, and has supported the band and fans through everything. We’re supporting him and (hopefully) giving something back to him to show our appreciation for everything he does!
