The 2011 People’s Choice Awards have been released and much like last year Avenged Sevenfold are missing from the “Favorite Rock Band” category. You still have the opportunity to make your voice heard since you can nominate the band! All you have to do is head here here – check “Other” and put “Avenged Sevenfold” into the box then submit your vote!

And I’m sorry, but does any sober person under the age of 45 actually listen to Train or Nickelsuck, I mean Nickelback? The only people I know that like either of those bands are drunk, trashy, old redneck women.

Mozart didn’t win any Grammys (I know they weren’t around back then, but that’s besides the point), but he’s still revered as one of the biggest classical musicians to ever walk the earth. I think that’s quite an honor.
City of Evil was ranked as the 63rd greatest guitar album of all time by Guitar World. The Rev was named the 41st greatest drummer of all time by Rhythm Magazine. Syn is ranked among the 50 fastest guitarists of all time, and the 30 coolest guitarists of all time (both by Guitar World). Avenged Sevenfold as a band were ranked as the 2nd best band of the decade by Ultimate Guitar. I think those beat the crap out of a Grammy.
