Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 3:57 pmthe songs, i think that it’s correct, but not the order!
Comment by zalasa October 20, 2010 @ 4:00 pmlas one Bat country,
after God hates us, Unholy Confessions and Almost easy… the rest, i’m not sure..
As long as the songs are correct :) Thank you for letting me know!
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 4:01 pmyou’re welcome!! It was totally INSANE!!! love them a lot!!
Comment by zalasa October 20, 2010 @ 4:04 pmThis may sound like a bit of a strange question but… in the slow parts of the song, who does the “errwww” now? The Rev used to. I’m assuming Zacky?
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 4:08 pmhahaha I know what part you were talking about.. and that is a good question, because as small as that little vocal part is, it did keep the bridge together.
Comment by Tommy October 20, 2010 @ 4:11 pmI think Syn would…Zacky’s voice would just sound…odd. I think Syn’s voice would sound a little more natural, but maybe thats just me. Kind of like the growls he did in ALPOH.
Comment by Alyssa October 20, 2010 @ 4:17 pmHopefully we’ll have some footage of the concert tomorrow. Or today if those Barceloneons are quick to upload.

Comment by Brianna (brianna7x) October 20, 2010 @ 3:57 pmUnfortunately it seems as though Seize The Day wasn’t played.

Comment by Mickey Syn(se7en) October 20, 2010 @ 3:58 pmThey added bat country?!?!?!
Luuuucky mother frackers in Barcelona!!
YES!!! They re-added So Far Away and are playing Bat Country again! You Europeans are so lucky. They better come back to the US. This is great, great news. :)
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 3:59 pmThey are gonna come back to US after they finish the other countries they are going to. Shadows said it in a recent interview
Comment by Hef October 21, 2010 @ 12:56 amBEST CONCERT EVER
bat country was the last song after we chanted and screamed for like half an hour and before it was almost easy. apart from that, the setlist is in order.
I hope everyone gets to see the boys live someday! I was second row infront of syn and saw all of them perfectly. it’s one hell of a show and they’re insane.
Comment by mariola October 20, 2010 @ 4:01 pmIs the order correct now?
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 4:03 pmperfect :) youre always so quick to put news up!
Comment by mari October 20, 2010 @ 4:12 pmThank you! I couldn’t do it without the help of all of you guys sometimes.
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 4:15 pmAnd you put up every setlist or every show, correct? Sorry, I’m new here; discovered it last week when Matt said he was a frequent reader of DBN. Had to check it out. :P
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 4:18 pmMike, so glad to have you as a new reader! Did you see that in one of his interviews? I don’t put every set-list up, I just do when they start new tours. This will more than likely be the only set-list post unless they decide to change it up some time during the tour or for their UK shows.
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 4:21 pmOk cool! It’s nice to be informed whenever a new song is added/removed from the set.
Also, yeah, I heard it in the interview where Matt said the band hung out with you. Lucky!
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 4:28 pmWe’ll you’ll definitely be informed with news on the band here. Glad to have you aboard. And, that’s awesome. So glad you came to check it out.
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 4:35 pmI hope that’s a normal thing. And not that they just really wanted to play one more song (most likely the former, because I don’t think they’ve ever encored more just because of cheering).
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 4:05 pmawesome! (:
Comment by emilyA7X October 20, 2010 @ 4:04 pmsounds like the same setlist for uproar san diego + bat country :/
Comment by Mary October 20, 2010 @ 4:06 pmYeah you’re right. It’s essentially the same set list since their first show this year + Bat Country
Comment by Tommy October 20, 2010 @ 4:12 pmBetter than nothing. I can only hope Seize the Day or Second Heartbeat will be added again soon. I have a feeling Second Heartbeat will be played though… eventually. But Seize the Day… So Far Away covers the sad ballad.
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 4:13 pmYeah I’d have to agree Mike. As for live ballads, the list appears to be Seize the Day, Dear God or So Far Away. Since Nightmare is the new album, I’d agree that So Far Away covers the ballad. I’d personally love to hear I Won’t See You Tonight again, but Jimmy won’t be there to do the high parts in the outro :/
Comment by Tom October 20, 2010 @ 8:10 pmAh god I know it’s way to late but I’d die if they did a revival of their Waking the Fallen album! Has to be my new favorite:D
Comment by Anthony October 20, 2010 @ 4:13 pmstarting to wonder even though portnoy was a great drummer, if it just took him awhile to get bat country down on drums
Comment by Josh October 20, 2010 @ 4:25 pm……Ever think about the fact that maybe he just didn’t have the time?
Comment by Alyssa October 20, 2010 @ 4:57 pmWell it took him awhile to get down Almost Easy. In July and early August shows, he messed up frequently (alas, not majorly, and nothing he didn’t correct in a few seconds).
But still, I get your point; Bat Country is one of The Rev’s most complicated drum performances.
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 5:00 pmthats good they added another song. cant wait for them to come back to the united states again
Comment by paul October 20, 2010 @ 4:26 pmI so hope they add more songs for the UK, and they drop So Far Away.
Comment by ChrizC October 20, 2010 @ 4:43 pmI’m not a massive fan of that song. Sorry, Syn. I love the lyrics but the guitar leaves a lot to be imagined.
WHO WANTS ANOTHER A7X LIVE DVD????????
Comment by Anonymous October 20, 2010 @ 4:50 pmBetter question: Who doesn’t?
Comment by Tanner October 20, 2010 @ 5:15 pmWell…one may happen in the eventual future. ;)
Comment by Alyssa October 20, 2010 @ 5:20 pmI hope they play save me
Comment by Chris October 20, 2010 @ 5:15 pmWe all do.
Comment by Laurence October 20, 2010 @ 6:04 pmYes we do… :’(
Comment by EmilyVengeance October 20, 2010 @ 11:11 pmThat would be too hard to play live consistantly, in my opinion. But if they have a special tribute show on 12/28/10 for the Rev, I can see them playing it. Y’Know, maybe a special concert in Long Beach with A7X and friends as a tribute to Jimmy.
Comment by Mike October 20, 2010 @ 6:06 pmThere were rumors from Matt and he told a fan that for the second leg of the tour they might be playing Save Me as an encore. Nobody knows if this is true or not, but it was posted a while back on here. Maybe DBN still has the link here! :)
Comment by Alyssa October 20, 2010 @ 7:03 pmRight here.
Comment by deathbatnews October 20, 2010 @ 7:05 pmAwwwwwww MAN! i can’t believe they played Bat Country!!! come back to America!!!! :cp can’t wait for the next round…definitely Save Me for the encore…
Comment by Rachel October 20, 2010 @ 6:28 pmHoly crap. I hope this is the setlist for Scotland next week, I can’t wait :D
Comment by EmilyVengeance October 20, 2010 @ 11:13 pmOoh seeing em on 3 dates of the uk tour and i’d be very happy if they played this set :) i think, given the circumstances, its quite varied :D god hates us live must be insane!
Comment by Jazlives4a7x October 20, 2010 @ 11:46 pmNO OPENING ACT?
Comment by matt October 21, 2010 @ 12:54 amWho was their opening act?
Comment by sm October 21, 2010 @ 3:39 amFootage of Bat Country! So engergetic!!!
I must say, I’m really upset they just removed the “errwww” from the slow parts of the song. But still, especially when the song started, there was so much energy in the room.
Comment by Mike October 21, 2010 @ 3:54 amthat’s the song they should have been ending with in the first place!!
Comment by Anonymous October 21, 2010 @ 12:01 pmI agree. At least they shouldn’t have ended with Almost Easy; it’s not powerful enough to full out end a show. Maybe the first song in a two song encore, but not to just downright close the show with.
Comment by Mike October 21, 2010 @ 2:07 pmThey should close with Unholy Confessions at every show.
Comment by Drew October 21, 2010 @ 4:25 pmwould they play bat country on every tour date in europe? Especially in Amaterdam?
