Avenged Sevenfold have now posted their announcement regarding the “Welcome To The Family Tour.” Confirmed dates can be found below with more to be added.
Avenged Sevenfold will hit the road again this spring with Three Days Grace, Bullet For My Valentine and Sevendust for the ‘Welcome To The Family’ Tour. The tour starts April 22nd and continues through May 21st. Confirmed tour dates are below, with more dates to be announced soon.

Look at the list – most of these places are small to medium sized cities. Places that usually get bypassed by nearly EVERY band of significance.
Looks to me like A7X is giving back to the fans that usually have to drive several hours to a major city/venue to see them. That’s pretty cool if that’s the idea behind it. Giving back to their fans no matter where they live.

Comment by Zzz February 18, 2011 @ 10:27 amI think that was me who commented last time, when they announced the Lowell date. Concerts are no doubt expensive, but it’s always been that way. But I look at it this way. If they were to be playing Oakdale or the XL Center, Springfield is maybe a difference of 20-30 miles from those locations, so we are talking maybe an additional $30 in gas. It’s really right in our backyard. That’s one of the VERY FEW perks on living in CT. Either way, I’m pretty sure they will come back to CT sooner or later. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
