No. Avenged Sevenfold are headliners. Under their name it says “With Special Guests” and then lists Three Days Grace, Sevendust (for their select dates) and Bullet (for their select dates).

5/3 – 5/18. Got a feeling the poster was made before the final set of dates were announced because the press release states: Sevendust from April 22nd through May 1st and Bullet For My Valentine from May 3rd through May 20th.

Avenged has always been a band to vary their touring partners… back to the days when they toured with Good Charlotte… A7X is not strictly a metal band, their sound varies more than any band out right now, which is part of what makes them Awesome… honestly, I’d be at any A7X show near me even if they were touring with Taylor Swift… I’m going to see Sevenfold, if the other band(s) are good, great… it makes my experience that much better… if they suck, it is not going to be a bad night, once A7X has finished their set.
I very much agree but I didn’t even know Three Days Grace was still a band. Trust me, I’d rather see them with Good Charlotte again. This is just my OPINION though.
agreed! Im not a fan of any of the openers but i’d be there in a heart-beat because well…its AVENGED SEVENFOLD! They’ll make up for it. But I would love it if they toured with linkin park, I think that would great…anyone else agree??
Linkin Park? Was My favorite Band Before I Was Introduced To Fold. And A Show With Them Would Be Great. If They Strictly Played Their Old Stuff Like Numb, One Step Closer, Crawling.
ALL Their New Stuff Sucks. Big Time. Just My Opinion Though.
Long time ago, when The Anthem was a huge song i think, and A7X was touring after WTF… I think the Red Coffin tour or something… personally, it was right after I got into A7X, my 2nd show, they were great as usual, but were just openers… Good Charlotte was terrible, IMO… I listened to their music back then, but just not good live performers at all.
you do have a point. they have always varied who they tour with over the years & thats a good thing. i just wish theyd pick a band thats just getting good at touring & getting noticed. 3DG already had their day (when i was in middle school 10 years ago). BFMV are great live. seen em 3 times, once w/ a7x at taste of chaos 08. phenomenal show btw. probably the best ive ever been to. im not much into sevendust but they seem like a good band to open for a7x.
Honestly, without including bands that are big to the point that they are gonna be headliners themselves, I really do not think us A7X fans will get as good as Stone Sour opening, for some time… we have been spoiled… I know what you are saying about 3DG, honestly, now that HellYeah has added Better Man to it’s touring cycle, I wish they were the openers, but they are out with Buck Cherry right now… there are alot of tours in full swing right now, I know 3DG just released a new album, or has one coming out… Stone Sour has alot of good bands lined up behind them on the Avalanche Tour, so it was pretty slim pickings in a way, and from what I see Hollywood Undead wasn’t well received on NAC, so I know they have been planning to do a few dates with Sevendust, which I am not overly excited about, I’d Much prefer BFMV in Wilkes-Barre, but goes back to my original statement, I’m going to see A7X, all else is a bonus really… as for 3DG, I’ve heard they are good live, so at the least, you are gonna get a good set of musicians performing songs you know and can get into at the show, really could be worse.
You need to get some of your facts straight about 3DG. They didn’t “have their day” ten years ago; they didn’t even release their first album until 2003.
And 3DG is a pretty damn good band live. Then again, none of it really matters who opened, as long as the main headliner is amazing. But the openers are an added bonus I guess..
I totally agree! I have seen A7X 2 times and am going to DM Iowa to see them a third time in a year! So excited! The first time I saw them was with Disturbed and Halestorm as their touring parteners. 2nd was Stone Sour and HollywoodUndead. Don’t matter who they follow- they are AWESOME!
I saw 3DG this past fall, and I thought they were decent. But I agree w/Brian, by the time A7X comes on, I really don’t care who opened. Just to see A7X alone is totally worth it!! :)
A7X have to be varied with their openers. Sure, you may think that TDG are just another one of those “hard rock radio bands” but can’t you say that for A7X, and most of the bands that open for them? Honestly, I really don’t think it matters who opens for A7X, even if the opener is constantly being played on the radio, heard everywhere or whatnot. I think 3DG put on an amazing show (having seen them 3 times, and being one of the first concerts I have ever been to) and them being an opener is a bonus. You really shouldn’t judge them if you haven’t seen them live. I don’t like doing that for bands, because if I see a band that I don’t really like live, my mind could change on them, depending on how their live show was.
JMO, anyways…
Very true… happened to me with Halestorm at Uproar last year, actually… I wasn’t really fond of their studio music, seemed dull and generic, but they were awesome live.
Anyone have any doubts that this would be the poster? once I saw Welcome to the Family, this is the Picture in the album book, on the iTunes “Welcome to the Family” single… awesome picture and art work… but not much of a revelation that this is the poster.

I have a question about the Carolina rebellion show in NC, my ticket says general admission just that and some seat rows and shit but usually when I get a ticket it says ga floor or ga pit and some seat rows and stuff I’m just wondering if my tickets are floor/pit tickets,I think they are I’m just not totally sure
Could we maybe expect another ALPOH performance on the set this time? I missed the nightmare before christmas show so the last time I’ve seen them was uproar :/, you think they’ll do anything interesting with this setlist?
