Information On Avenged Sevenfold Show In Dallas Being Canceled/Postponed.

Schecter Guitars has announced the Avenged Sevenfold show in Dallas, TX has been canceled. However, Deathbat News reader Alejandro sent in the following information regarding what he was told by Verizon Theater employees:
The show at the verizon theater in grand prairie has been postponed. I was in line and heard one of the employees say Shadows had lost his voice, but I don’t know if this is true. They also said tickets will be honored at TBA date.
NOTE: An official statement from Avenged Sevenfold has not been released at this time.

I saw some of the recent videos and his voice sounded strained. I hope he recovers fast!

I hope he recovered fast because their amazing and I’m pretty sure we’ll all support them through think and thin haha :)

Comment by god damn it May 19, 2011 @ 5:05 pmthat fucking sucks! hope Shads get better soon and this isnt a repeat of the self-titled touring cycle…its weird though everytime he shaves his head it seems like right around that time he gets vocally exhausted haha back in 2008 he shaved his head and then his vocals started getting strained and now he shaved his head really recently and bam, strained or sick hope he gets well soon though

Comment by angela May 19, 2011 @ 8:51 pmYeah, it kinda sucks that we found out it was postponed after driving 3 hours and waiting in line for almost 5 hours…I don’t think the Verizon Theatre employees handled the situation quite as well as it could have been handled (i.e. laughing at our reaction -_-) but I’m not gonna blame anybody, and I hope Matt gets better soon. I hope they can still perform at ROTR for everyone that’s going, and I’m definitely glad that it’s going to be rescheduled…I hope BFMV will still be on the bill, though I kinda doubt it :(
