During a Q&A and book signing at a Chicago borders for his book “Seven Deadly Sins” Corey Taylor spoke about what it was like to tour with Avenged Sevenfold, the support the bands gave each other, and tales from the tour including Synyster Gates asking questions about Slipknot.
Thanks to the ladies from Devil Bear Rock for sending this in.

Comment by Anonymous July 22, 2011 @ 6:45 pmIt’s more about the seven deadly sins, but he applies a lot of it to his life. I dunno, its hard to describe. Lol

Comment by Amy July 21, 2011 @ 10:16 amHis words truly touched me. I was already a fan of his (in Slipknot and Stone Sour), but I love and respect him even more now! And of course, this just makes me love Avenged more (and I already love them immensely)! I had the biggest smile on my face when he was talking about Syn asking him all those questions! For some reason, I thought that was so freaking cute!

Comment by ashleigh July 22, 2011 @ 8:46 amAlways impressed by how down to earth Corey is. I saw him out among the crowd following their set during last year’s Uproar, and he was just being cool and BS-ing with fans. Tha dude’s a class act.
Comment by Brad July 22, 2011 @ 11:31 amI just think it’s so cool when bands talk about other bands with such respect and don’t try to put them down in any way. It just makes me love their music so much more.
Comment by Anonymous July 22, 2011 @ 7:12 pmThat has too be one of the most awsome things i have ever heard/watched to hear the love & respect that these bands have for each other is really so very rare these days.
Comment by mandi July 22, 2011 @ 11:20 pmMost have their heads planted fairley up their asses and wouldnt give you the time of day.
But the slipknot & avenged guys are truely beautiful people, they all must also have wonderful partners/wifes.
It’s really nice too know…..i’d love one day to shake their hands, give them all a hug, have a drink with em and just say thanks for your awsome music but thanks for just being yourselves. I get to see A7X for the first time in melbourne in little under 2 weeks, cant wait
