Chris Epting has written a short review of Avenged Sevenfold’s set in Ontario, CA on the “Buried Alive” tour for Noisecreep. Check out the full piece here.

Onstage Saturday night, frontman M. Shadows talked about the tour, Sullivan, and how happy he was to finally be performing near home (the closest the band has come since a fall 2010 UPROAR appearance in Irvine). With many friends and family members in the house, the band seemed relaxed and comfortable on stage, delivering a blistering set that proved once more just what a polished powerhouse they have become.

I have chills from reading that article. I was at this show, right there in the pit smashed against the barricades. Seen A7X three times this year, and this was byfar the best one yet. All three were phenominal, and A7X never fail to provide. I was so honored to be able to be at this show for many reasons: hometown, last show of the tour, last show for “Nightmare” and the emotions that came out of it being so close to the anniversary of Jimmy’s passing. <3
