Suzy Haner has shared a special message from The Sullivan’s to fans and the Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan celebration guitar she had made for them with the help of Schecter Guitars and Brittany Brazil A special thank you goes out to the Sullivan’s for their message as well as Suzy for sharing it and the guitar with us all. We will never forget.
Brian and I went and saw Mr. & Mrs. Sullivan a few weeks ago.. we shared how much we all loved and missed Jimmy. As some of you know, with the help of Schecter guitars, I had celebration guitars made for the band and my husband of our Jimmy’s life. The last one we made was for the Sullivan Family.. they asked me to tell YOU all how much they appreciate and are so happy that you all love and have not forgotten their son (how could we ever!) They wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and share the guitar with all of you… This was created by Brittany Brazil. From Jimmy’s Family… “Thank you for keeping us and Jimmy in your thoughts and prayers!” Love, The Sullivan Family

Comment by Maria7x December 24, 2011 @ 10:10 pmI hope the Sullivan’s find some peace in knowing how much their son was loved, respected, and adored by all of the fans. I cried at the Noblesville, IN concert when So Far Away was played. I didn’t know him, but I can’t imagine how painful it has been for the family and band to continue on with out their genius bandmate/best friend. What a wonderful testament to everyone involved in Jimmy’s life that they chose to carry on, which I am sure is what he would have wanted. RIP Jimmy. There are so many people here who are missing you. Hopefully we can each carry a little peace of you with us-especially your sense of humor!
