Vengeance University have debuted a new blog and added new items to the online store. For Easter weekend only, all domestic orders over $50 will ship free while domestic orders placed on button packs ship for only $1.
Here at Vengeance University we love Easter. Whats not to like about champagne brunches and zombie jesus? But seriously we really love Easter, We love bunnies and eggs and especially bunnies that lay chocolate eggs. We decided to try something a little different this year though. Instead of the traditional pastel nightmare that Easter ensues we are having our own Dark Easter. Equipped with Gothic and Horrific Icons and Imagery. There will still be plenty of baskets filled with fake grass and jelly beans along with peeps in the microwave.
M Shadows surprised all of those in attendance at Fozzy‘s show last night at The Roxy by joining the band on stage to help perform “Sandpaper.” After the show, Chris Jericho shared a photo of himself and some of his band members with Shadows and Zakk Wylde. Jericho and Shadows also got matching Jack-O-Lantern tattoos.
Thanks CNCPhotos for the live shots.
Chris Jericho was asked by to pick five rockers who would make great wrestlers in the “Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock” issue of Revolver Magazine. One of Jericho’s choices was M Shadows citing, “He would be, like, a baby-faced good guy. When the bad guy beats him down, all the chicks would be screaming for him, but he has the bad-ass credibility with all the tattoos.” Alongside him were Zakk Wylde, David Lee Roth, Gene Hogan and Corey Taylor.
Thanks Andrew for sending the scan in.

Music Tour Reviews have put up a lengthy review and large photo gallery filled with many compliments and great shots from Avenged Sevenfold’s performance at the Orion Music + More Festival.
M.Shadows was all over the stage and under his bandana and cap, you could see his hair growing long from the time off; his voice was on point and sounded great. Zacky Vengeance & Synyster Gates joined several times to play to the crowd. Gates, as always, in his playful mood as he made faces as he looked down to the photographers. Johnny Christ and Arin IIejay provided the tight drumming and bass playing A7X is known for. Seeing them all so close got the crowd into it, as mosh pits tried to form in the packed grounds.
Going past their set time, they came out for an encore of Unholy Confessions. By this time, I was waiting by the stage Metallica was going to be on and noticed not many people had left the side stage, leaving the main stage sparse with people. Once more fireworks went off as A7X finished up, leaving the crowd wanting more and making their mark at the Orion Festival that only one other band could match and beat Metallica.

Guitar World have posted a a small write-up and photos from Avenged Sevenfold’s set at Orion Music + More Festival.
On Sunday night, Avenged Sevenfold capped off the action of the festival’s Fuel stage with a fiery set of hit after hit. While drawing a slot right before Metallica wasn’t exactly ideal this past weekend (Just ask Arctic Monkeys), Avenged managed to draw perhaps the second-largest crowds behind the festival’s hosts, thanks in part to their trademark, energetic stage show — not to mention enough fireworks for a small 4th of July celebration
