About the album, love the songwriting…just beautiful. In particular, really like the incorporation of horns, as in Shepherd of Fire…that 3-note progression by the horn section in the beginning and throughout that song may sound simple but it’s so incredibly important in the song’s overall arrangement…gives an ominous indication of what’s to come in the album? Maybe I’m biased because I played bass trombone in HS and college. The whole album hits you in the chest and leaves you breathless long after St. James. Nine, ten months of working your asses off, and you guys produced a work that will stand the test of time with the very best albums. Of all time. Love it.
