ARTICLE CORRECTION: M Shadows’ son is named River not Owen. Rock Sound must have used Tumblr for their research on the subject.

Professionalism becomes questionable when ‘Tumblr’ becomes a viable source…

So embarrassing they messed up Shad’s son’s name lol. But I loved this article. They have been through so much and their growth has been uplifting and amazing. And M. Shadows, man I have so much more respect for him as a father and husband (this is coming from a woman expecting her first child with her husband). Hail to the kings!

Let me tell you I really enjoyed this interview! (apart from the River/Owen detail, yes) but it has been a good one! I just loved how Matt described how he feels about his personal life, and about not joining twitter for instance. It makes all sense to me, as much as we all want to know about our idols, I do respect their attitude towards social networks and all that.

Thanks for sharing! :D

Love to hear Matt and Zack mentioning Volbeat so much lately. Started getting into Volbeat a few years back and have seen them live 3 times now. Refreshing band w/ an uber talented frontman in Michael Poulsen.

I saw A7x at the first tour in Oshkosh, Wisconsin they talk about in the article!!! It rained a lot that day, and everybody was wet but by the time A7x came onto stage, the crowd was pressed tight and suddenly everybody started screaming… The first note and NNNNNNNNightmare!!!!I I couldn’t hear Matt clearly because everybody was singing loudly, I thought first, damn, but then just went with the flow and it was liberating. Like each of their albums, they carry you through the concert and you can barely catch your breath and its all over in what seems like 5 minutes…. A good article, mistakes in names are a must with those guys… I liked where they talk about Arin… Looking at him you can feel what heavy load he is carrying, I hope it will get lighter… What a great band, looking forward to the October concert… and wish them all to fully enjoy their so well deserved success and disregard the assholes…

Really good article, besides of the fact that they missed River’s name, but I loved it when they spoke of A7X as a festival headliner, just picture it: Avenged Fest!
