Some fans will notice this isn’t the original treatment for the video and M Shadows explained why stating, “Honestly when we were shooting the video we were pretty excited about it. After a few attempts of editing it the video just looked bad, dragged on and just didn’t do anything for us. Especially since most people didn’t get the vision we were going for w the Shepherd of Fire video, we just didn’t want to come next with a 6 min. boring video of a bunch of people rioting. At the end of the day all that really matters is we didn’t like it so we canned it. I think everyone will be happy with the new video…”

Rafa and crew did a great job capturing the energy of an Avenged Sevenfold show. Also enjoyed the addition of the fans singing.

Wow, what a great video! I enjoyed it so much! There’s no need for a story or a theme, just seeing them perform (even though the song itself is the recorded version) is more than enough! Also, great crowd! I love it when they chant the melody! Excellent work!

Gutted they couldn’t do something like the Shepherd of Fire video, I thought that video was awesome. Still I absolutely loved this video, it’s great seeing fans around the world and the live shots were awesome!! xxxxxxx

Good music video. I personally liked the Shepherd of Fire vid though. Still think their City of Evil music videos were their best.

Love this video! Personally I think they made a great decision going back to the drawing board and making this (for the most part) a live concert footage video because it adds emphasis to what an epic song this is and how incredible it is to see them do live. An excellent job was done splicing the audio from the crowds in with the song’s audio. I think this was the perfect song to do a live concert footage video for because its such an anthem-esq song and it kind of shoves it in the faces of their naysayers that still want to criticize them for whatever reason or accuse them of being just some sort of fad to say “Hey…this is what our fans look like all decked out in their A7X gear and tatts, these are the crowds that show up for our shows, this is the reaction we get from our music…so suck it!” Kind of like to say “This Means War” against all the shit-talkers & haters that have been undermining their talents and underestimating their drive and determination since day 1. If they decide to do another video for a song from this album I think it’d be cool if they did it for Heretic or Planets, either or could create some crazy video concepts! LOL!
