SECOND HEARTBEAT!
I hope they play it tomorrow, I’ve wanted to hear it live for years… also hoping for I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1.
Comment by PM7X August 26, 2011 @ 8:24 pmwell i guess they didn’t play it…an excuse to go to another a7x concert lol
Comment by Anonymous August 28, 2011 @ 9:44 amwoooooooot
Comment by otis August 26, 2011 @ 8:25 pmSecond Heartbeat & Chapter Four!!!! Now if somebody will hurry up and put it on youtube lol
Comment by DRHa7x August 26, 2011 @ 8:25 pmno encore ?
Comment by Anto August 26, 2011 @ 8:25 pmNo encore.
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 8:36 pmEncores just waste time anyway. They are so cliche in the 21st century anyway.
Comment by Mike August 26, 2011 @ 8:38 pmmore Avenged songs live are a waste of time? i dont think so
Comment by anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 9:08 pmPretty sure he just means the time spent waiting before the encore is a waste… If you haven’t noticed they play just as many songs haha
Comment by Milan August 26, 2011 @ 9:21 pmconsidering there is a curfew and you only play until the curfew, no need for them to leave the stage. Thus, an encore is a waste of time
Comment by FairfieldA7X August 26, 2011 @ 9:22 pmYeah, all encores do is waste 3 to 5 minutes. I’d rather listen to Bat Country or something then a bunch of people scream ‘SEVENFOLD!!!!!’ thousands of times. Srsly :P
Comment by Mike August 26, 2011 @ 11:47 pmI wish they would’ve played Not Ready To Die :/
Comment by Juan August 26, 2011 @ 8:25 pmGive them time to switch it up a little, it’s only been one night. There are tons of ways they can change it each night.
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 8:31 pmMe too I was hoping for Not Ready To Die but I was happy when they played second heartbeat and chapter four:)
Comment by Maddie6661 August 27, 2011 @ 8:00 amWow, no Critical Acclaim. I know they’re switching it up every night but I thought Nightmare, Critical Acclaim, & WTTF would be locked in stone. Ah well, I’m not complaining. At all. :P I can’t wait to see Youtube vids of Second Heartbeat and Chapter Four again. :D
Comment by Mike August 26, 2011 @ 8:26 pmMaybe Critical Acclaim could be a song that they could open with instead of Nightmare one night when they switch it up? I’ve seen A7X 3 times before the Nighmare CD came out and that was their opening song everytime! Then they would play it right after Nightmare the other 2…just my opinion though.
Comment by TJP August 26, 2011 @ 10:55 pmWell they’re touring under Nightmare; besides, I think (and hope) that song is set in stone. It’s a perfect opener anyway. Besides, Harlot is a good alternative for Critical Acclaim since it opened City of Evil and CA opened the self-titled. :D
Comment by Mike August 26, 2011 @ 11:45 pmAwesome! This one is like the old one, but that’s totally okay considering this is only the first night and I loved the old set anyways. I also love all their other songs though, so seeing Second Heartbeat and Chapter Four back is really amazing! Can’t wait to hear about tomorrow’s show! And then next Saturday is my show. :D
Comment by Tabatha Marks (@TabathaWhoa) August 26, 2011 @ 8:37 pmGlad to see they’re throwing a few Waking the Fallen songs in there! Can’t wait to see how the set lists vary from show to show.
Comment by Jason Grandbois August 26, 2011 @ 8:37 pmI am super excited to see how these end up being switched up every night! They’ve worked so hard to be able to play essentially one massive setlist, not to mention all the work the crew has to do to make sure it all goes smoothly. I hope I can make it to more than one show!
Comment by River August 26, 2011 @ 8:43 pmHave seen them 4 times and never have they played Second Heartbeat!!!! So jelous I cant go this year:(
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 8:47 pmShow was soooo ridic amazing. Second heartbeat was aweome. They also pulled someone from the pit onstage. I was right next to him soooo close!!!
Comment by Matt August 26, 2011 @ 8:48 pmexcited about some, not excited about some but either way its kick ass! cant wait to see how they work it every night.
Comment by joel August 26, 2011 @ 8:50 pmIs That How Many Songs They Are Gonna Play The Whole Tour?
Comment by Johnny Michael Guerra August 26, 2011 @ 8:52 pmThey could play one or two more more depending on what songs they get rid of and how short the ones they put in are.
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 8:56 pmhopefully when i see them at least three of the songs i chose are in the set list
Comment by diego ramirez August 26, 2011 @ 8:54 pmSucks that I can not make the Scranton Show… I gotta figure out some way to see this year’s Uproar… although I am not overly excited about any other band… sick play list… I am shocked that they did not have a bigger set… last year they co-headlined and had a 10 song set list… I was thinking they would have 13 at least this time…
BTW, just an FYI… you are looking at a set made up of 11 songs… So there could be such a difference night to night… I may be in Boston Tuesday if it is still on the map!!! really looking forward to atleast video of #14 on this list!!!!!!!
Comment by Brian August 26, 2011 @ 8:54 pmLOL Boston will still be on the map, as will Masfield where the show is. We’re going to be hit with wind and rain, but it will be down to like a category 1 by then, so don’t worry, we will see Avenged that night!!!!
Comment by Elin August 27, 2011 @ 6:23 amHow long did they play
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 8:56 pmFrom around 9:50 to 11:05
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 9:05 pm*Prays that they play Save Me and Fiction in San Diego*
Comment by Ava August 26, 2011 @ 9:08 pmUnfortunately Save Me and Fiction were not in the top 20 songs according to their Facebook poll.
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 9:24 pma little off the A7X setlist topic…but is there anywhere to see what the other mainstage bands played?
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 9:10 pmTry Setlist.fm :)
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 9:13 pmI’ll keep an eye out. Helpful as ever, thanks!
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 10:07 pmhey dbn are u going to post some videos when they are sent to you?
Comment by Neil August 26, 2011 @ 9:27 pmI’ll post them as I find them or as they’re sent in depending on which songs they are. I’ll more than likely only post songs that haven’t been played in a while/at all.
Comment by deathbatnews August 26, 2011 @ 9:34 pmSo like second heartbeat and chapter four? :) thanks a lot!
Comment by Neil August 26, 2011 @ 10:31 pmBy the way everyone….Avenged Sevenfold played the full original 7 minute Second Heartbeat…not the 5 min LBC one. It was sooooooo gooooooood!
Comment by pd August 26, 2011 @ 9:27 pmFucking awesome that’s the old school version!!
Comment by Anonymous August 26, 2011 @ 9:35 pmHell yea.. it was soo good. And M shadows screamed alot more in it too and he sounds better than ever. M shadows is God.
Comment by pd August 27, 2011 @ 10:33 amomg thats awesome!!! :D. dangit somebody hurry up & send vids in lol
Comment by DRHa7x August 26, 2011 @ 9:40 pmYea it was amazing!
Comment by Mesa (@Lost_Mesa) August 26, 2011 @ 10:14 pmFor some reason when I listen to it, I can’t tell what’s missing from the LBC one. Would somebody care to enlighten me? :)
Comment by Mike August 26, 2011 @ 11:43 pmThe whole, “Never will I forget you and all the memories passed.” Part
Comment by Marblez August 27, 2011 @ 7:53 amGreat setlist, so jealous, we didn’t even get to see fiction down here in Ozz.,let alone Beast and the Harlot,.Amazed critical acclaim isn’t there though.
Comment by juice August 26, 2011 @ 10:23 pmi’d like to see a new dvd, reckon my LBC one is worn out!
OMG KMC;ELEWAIJMKFEM;MAJIMfelkcmtri;kMJKFVC Second Heartbeat AND Chapter Four?!?!?! and no “not ready to die” either ! ^_^ kinda weird they played alpoh last though haha whatever! i can’t wait till i see them in october!
Comment by Jon August 26, 2011 @ 10:28 pmThey played Unholy Confessions last, not ALPoH…
Comment by dcafwriting August 27, 2011 @ 5:45 pmshow was fuckin epic. im pissed that john cena kid got to go onstage
Comment by Brian August 26, 2011 @ 11:08 pmOMFGGG CHAPTER FOUR !!! Omg I just cryed a little
Comment by koko August 26, 2011 @ 11:26 pmI just screamed out loud!!! Chapter 4 is one of my favorite!
Comment by Carol August 26, 2011 @ 11:45 pmMe toooo!!!! I’ve been waiting so long to hear this song live!! And there’s a chance I will! OMGG !
Comment by koko August 27, 2011 @ 12:37 pmDo you reckon that they will take into account the songs that they normally play when looking at their setlist poll. Considering all of the songs that they previous played supporting nightmare are in the top 20 (i think), will they add 20 other top songs, or strictly play just the top 20 regardless of what they are. I hope not considering songs like Dancing Dead, Sidewinder and Warmness on the Soul just missed out.
Comment by Rory Wiltshire August 27, 2011 @ 3:03 amno, they are taking in to account the 20 songs the fans voted for
Comment by Nathan August 28, 2011 @ 1:36 amI know about the poll. I was just wondering say if none of the songs they normally play (like Nightmare, Afterlife, Unholy Confessions, etc) weren’t in the top 20 they would probably still play them, so I was just wondering if they might play the top 20 disregarding the songs they normally play
Comment by Rory Wiltshire August 28, 2011 @ 5:47 amAbout time Johnny cut his Mo hawk to a decent length, it was beginning to looks like a comb over lol
Comment by Anonymous August 27, 2011 @ 8:23 amNow that the first show has gone by, how does the pre-sale laminate work? The one that gives you early access. I got one when I bought my pre-sale pit tickets. Do you go in the same time as the VIP buyers or after? Anyone who had one know?
Comment by Tabatha Marks (@TabathaWhoa) August 27, 2011 @ 12:42 pmFrom my friend who went who had the early entry laminate: “There wil be a banner up by the front gate saying rockstar uproar early entry so you line up there, go in with the vip, you have to have the laminate either vip or the one we got in the mail, OR your ticket has to say early entry. You’ll go in 15 mins before doors open.”
Comment by deathbatnews August 27, 2011 @ 1:32 pmOkay, thanks a lot, I’m even more excited now!
Comment by Tabatha Marks (@TabathaWhoa) August 27, 2011 @ 7:52 pm11 songs?!?!?! Soooooooooo happy we get an extra one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by Dorothy August 27, 2011 @ 12:52 pma little bit sad that this is SO similar to the past 3 tours (uproar, nightmare after christmas, welcome to the family)
i love all of these songs, but i have seen them 5 times in 1 year and travel long distances to see them so it would be nice to have like 6 songs weve heard, and 5 ones we havent heard yet, since there are 8 songs that havent been on the past rotations on the top20….
Comment by 7 August 27, 2011 @ 4:29 pmnot everyone has seen them 5 times the year, if the concert was just for you then complain, their are people yet to see them believe it or not
Comment by Nathan August 28, 2011 @ 1:38 amA7X!!!!!
Comment by Anonymous August 27, 2011 @ 4:32 pmFirst night’s set list is awesome! Can’t wait to see how it changes with each stop!

Pingback by UPROARフェスティバル2011、写真・レビュー等まとめ | Deathbat-JP News Blog August 27, 2011 @ 6:27 pmi think Matt should wear a task force shirt at a show that they play Not Ready to Die at, that would be sweet xD

Comment by Juan August 27, 2011 @ 8:45 pmOmg A7X played a set without Beast and the Harlot for like…the first time in years!!
Comment by AJX August 27, 2011 @ 8:47 pmNot really. They did not play Beast and the Harlot on the Nightmare after Christmas tour or on the Welcome to the Family Tour.
Comment by Anonymous August 27, 2011 @ 9:05 pmRock am Ring 2011 was without beast and the harlot… and thats my fav song

M.I.A. and seize the day…awesome!
Comment by Anonymous August 27, 2011 @ 8:50 pmThanks DBN for putting my email up.
Anywaym M.I.A was soooo epic, at the end of the song the whole band besides Zacky and Syn left the stage and ZV and Syn were playing the end of it with spotlights on them in the dark.
Comment by Tom August 27, 2011 @ 8:56 pmI NEED A VID OF MIA…RIGHT NOW
Comment by pd August 27, 2011 @ 8:58 pmI’m with you! This is like Christmas Morning! What will they play next. I love hearing the old stuff. Matt’s voice is INSANE!
Comment by Jess August 27, 2011 @ 9:42 pmThe Camden show videos were up very fast. I was expecting the same with last night’s show with MIA being uploaded shortly after the show but i guess not lol. If you search MIA live on YouTube there really isnt one that is good on there (i mean quality wise, of course). I want an MIA video from the scranton show so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so bad
Comment by pd August 28, 2011 @ 6:04 pmI have a feeling that this might be the best a7x tour ever
Comment by DRHa7x August 27, 2011 @ 8:59 pmBest their tours were in 2004-2006.This is will be best tour of whole nightmare cycle.
Comment by Anonymous August 28, 2011 @ 12:06 amWhat an AMAZING SET LIST! I hope they play it in MI!
Comment by Anonymous August 27, 2011 @ 9:04 pmWhen was the last time they played MIA, 2005? Insane!!! Cool they played Seize the Day too. ;)
Comment by Mike August 27, 2011 @ 9:04 pmOh what! They played Seize The Day! I wished they played that when I saw them :(
Comment by Brooke August 27, 2011 @ 10:09 pmKick ass setlists so far, I wanna see an M.I.A. video! Glad to see they haven’t played Not Ready To Die or I Won’t See You Tonight Pt. 1 yet…I’m going to the Boston show hopefully they’ll play em there!
Comment by Kevin August 27, 2011 @ 10:36 pmThe concert was amazing! The guys really did a great job and while they played So Far Away Matt had us all whip out our cells and lighters for Jimmy. He also gave a little speech too that was very touching.
Comment by Zacorra A (@misscorrcorr) August 27, 2011 @ 10:41 pmThey can always ignore some of the setlist poll results (aka all the ones off of nightmare they’ve played within the past year) and replace them with the older songs. I wouldn’t mind that at all in Mountain View, CA oct.14th…just sayin’ :)
Comment by Alyssa Hernandez August 27, 2011 @ 10:44 pmMIA!!! I so wish I could go.
Comment by Rachel August 27, 2011 @ 10:50 pmNJ > PA setlist wise. Still wanna see not ready to die :D , hopefully when I see them in St. Louis.
Comment by Terrance August 27, 2011 @ 11:47 pmMIA MIA MIA MIA finally they are playing songs from COE other than Bat Country and Beast And The Harlot.
Comment by Ron August 28, 2011 @ 12:33 amnow im crossing my fingers for Trashed And Scattered and Blinded In Chains
Neither of those songs made it into the top 20, unfortunately. If I remember right, the only songs from CoE that did were BatH, Bat Country, Seize the Day, and MIA
Comment by dcafwriting August 28, 2011 @ 10:06 amSo it looks like they’re doing an 11-song setlist and keeping six songs the same each night: Nightmare, WttF, Afterlife, and the closing three songs. The rest change…I think that seems like a pretty reasonable idea; they keep six uber-popular singles each night (and close with Unholy, which is mandatory. Damn, what an amazing song) and go for rarities/secondary singles for the rest of the slots.
Comment by dcafwriting August 28, 2011 @ 12:46 amI swear this is every song I voted for and I couldn’t go cuz if the freaking hurricane… I’m so angry right now.
Comment by Anonymous August 28, 2011 @ 6:40 amThese are pretty disappointing so far. Wow. I’m hoping for Trashed and Scattered for the Virginia Beach show.
Comment by Jessica Chezem August 28, 2011 @ 7:16 amThis is how all of their tours should be.
Comment by BenjiA7X August 28, 2011 @ 8:25 amGreat PA setlist. Love the new stage production values and hearing M.I.A and Chapter Four for the first time live was amazing.
Comment by Anonymous August 28, 2011 @ 10:47 amI am crying with envy right now, what I would have done to have seen this setlist on the nightmare after christmas tour
Comment by Anonymous August 28, 2011 @ 11:09 amI drove to Scranton from upstate NY last night to see this show and it was worth all of the rain!!! I was so excited to see MIA in person!!! My boyfriend is a Marine and this song just means so much to me. I also loved seeing Seize the Day as I’d never seen it live before. This was my 6th time seeing them in the span of 12 months and it will never get old to me. Each and every show they put on is really like seeing them for the first time all over again – I am always shocked and awed at how AMAZING their performances are and how they always strive to put on a great show for their fans. I don’t get people’s complaints about the setlist…they could sing the phone book and I’d just be happy to see these guys perform! I’m looking forward to the Buffalo, NY show on 9/10 and can’t wait to see which of their older songs they will rotate into the set this time around. It’s like Christmas morning!
Comment by Tracey Baker (@traceylbaker) August 28, 2011 @ 11:24 amProps to Arin for learning a bunch of new songs
Comment by Rdog August 28, 2011 @ 11:58 amYeah, he’s a very good, quick learning drummer.
Comment by Agustin August 28, 2011 @ 8:49 pmI need a MIA video soon…I AM LITERALLY DYING OVER HERE.
Comment by pd August 28, 2011 @ 12:41 pmSo stoked they’re playing MIA and ALPOH again! Can’t wait to see them September 3!
Comment by Kayla August 28, 2011 @ 3:48 pmi was so happy to see they’re doing chapter four, really hope to see it in tampa!!!
Comment by wendy dahling (@mintysix661) August 28, 2011 @ 4:03 pmWAIT. Just realized So Far Away wasn’t played. That sucks; that should be a staple.
Comment by Mike August 28, 2011 @ 4:39 pmehhhh..they have played it on every tour since they have been back on the road..They should change it up like they are doing now. Its good that way.
Comment by pd August 28, 2011 @ 6:00 pmsomebody needs to post a video of MIA before someone gets shanked.
Comment by otis August 28, 2011 @ 6:38 pmyeah i couldnt believe that they didnt play So Far Away i hope they dont do that too much i really want them to play it when i see them cause this is the first time i am seeing them and i really want to see them play it
Comment by Megan August 28, 2011 @ 7:22 pmIt just BAFFLES me on how their are no videos of M.I.A up on YouTube!!
Comment by Alyssa August 28, 2011 @ 8:40 pmKinda hope they play it at least once more throughout the tour..so we will at least have a video of it.. x.x
My guess is that this is because of Irene…
Comment by BT August 28, 2011 @ 8:46 pmI wish I recorded it but I was so amazed when I heard Shadows say “We have written some songs about soldiers and war but this one was the first soldier song we have ever written” I was so excited I forgot to record. Amazing performance and an eerie feeling at the end of the song.
Comment by Tom August 28, 2011 @ 9:37 pmcheck the archives on DBN they have some linked cuz that’s where I seen them…
Comment by JesseMayhem September 6, 2011 @ 5:30 amit sort of scares me that they change the setlist each night, just cause there’s some stuff i am DYING to hear, mia, seize the day, chapter four, save me, etc. i’ts my third time seein em, so i hope to hear more older stuff this time
Comment by meg August 29, 2011 @ 9:45 amWell they wont play save me because it was #21 on the list.
Comment by Brandon Harris August 30, 2011 @ 2:04 pmMaybe. In one of the recent interviews, Shadows was talking about the songs they had to practice for this tour and he mentioned Save Me in the same sentence as MIA and I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1
Comment by Drew August 30, 2011 @ 5:25 pm…I don’t remember that O_o
Comment by Anonymous August 30, 2011 @ 7:48 pmHe mentions it in this article.
Comment by deathbatnews August 30, 2011 @ 8:44 pmas soon as people send in videos post them please! :D
Comment by Patrick August 30, 2011 @ 7:57 pmNot ready to die AND I won’t see you tonight in the same setlist? It’s perfect! I can only hope it’ll include those songs this Saturday at Tampa :/
Comment by Juan August 30, 2011 @ 7:57 pmBoston easily just had the best setlist
Comment by David Z. Kruspe August 30, 2011 @ 7:58 pmYeah they did, holy cow. No slow songs, and the live premiere of Not Ready to Die
Comment by dcafwriting August 30, 2011 @ 8:03 pmAhhhh they did SCREAM tonight xXx

Comment by ViolentWorld11 August 30, 2011 @ 7:59 pmThat’s exactly how I feel! I’m soo jealous of the people who went to the Boston show!

Comment by Elin August 30, 2011 @ 9:18 pmshow was fuckin amazing, not ready to die was awesome! same with iwsyt and scream(: they fuckin rocked that place!!
Comment by Justin August 30, 2011 @ 8:34 pmhey dbn can you put this setlist post at the very top of the homepage? so we don’t have to keep scrolling down to look for it?
just a suggestion, I’m probably just being selfish haha
Comment by Neil August 30, 2011 @ 8:48 pmThere’s a link under the Uproar graphic to the left of the page :)
Comment by deathbatnews August 30, 2011 @ 8:54 pmoh wow i swear I’m blind…
thx:)
Comment by Neil August 30, 2011 @ 8:56 pmthese are very “random” haha
Comment by Anonymous August 30, 2011 @ 8:57 pmHey does anybody know if when they played NR2D if they had the organ thing at the beginning, just wondering lol.
And omg that must have been 1 epic show, Id be glad to go to any a7x show even if it was 1 song, cuz ive never been to one lol
Comment by DRHa7x August 30, 2011 @ 8:58 pmyea they had the organ at the beginning:)
Comment by Justin August 30, 2011 @ 9:10 pmTonight was amazing! I can’t wait to get power/net back so I can post my video of Not Ready To Die! So worth it, looking forward to 9/11
Comment by Elin August 30, 2011 @ 9:15 pmHoly crap this is an awesome set! I can’t wait to see a Not Ready To Die video. :D
Comment by Mike August 30, 2011 @ 9:18 pmWow, what a setlist! Only Dear God is not played yet in list. Hopefully somebody is taken video of Not Ready To Die!!!
Comment by JJL August 30, 2011 @ 9:23 pmOMG they played I wont see you tonight! I got this song stuck in my head all day, I was singing it since I woke up! :)
Comment by Anonymous August 30, 2011 @ 10:08 pmBoston show was kick ass! Not Ready To Die was fucking AMAZING,same with IWSYT. A7X kicked major ass tonight!
Comment by Kevin C August 30, 2011 @ 10:31 pmIm not going to bed til i get a Not Ready to Die vid.
Comment by Matt August 30, 2011 @ 10:46 pmI might have died I’m so anxious to see them on the 9th…. OMFG! The new songs so far are PERFECT!!!!!
Comment by Agustin August 30, 2011 @ 11:37 pmI thought your name was Agustin August… Haha :)
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 9:16 amhahahahaha
Comment by Agustin September 1, 2011 @ 7:17 pmCANT WAIT TO SEE VIDEOS FOR NOT READY TO DIE AND I WONT SEE YOU TONIGHT
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 12:27 amTo anyone who went to the Boston show (Elin, Paul, etc) – how did they go into NRtD? Did they say something about playing it or did they just roll from Scream into it?
I would have flipped my lid if I was at that show and they started playing it! :)
Comment by BT August 31, 2011 @ 6:38 amShadows said they had a treat for us and that it was in the call of duty map pack
Comment by Beanspearlman September 1, 2011 @ 5:57 amDidnt think I was gonna be able to make it this year but after seeing these set lists I’ve got to go…a 3 hour drive is nothing!
Comment by AJ August 31, 2011 @ 7:56 amI’m BEGGING for an exception in TAMPA…PLEAZZZE play SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by BOP August 31, 2011 @ 10:10 amWow, impressive and what I’ve wanted them to do for years. I love Avenged Sevenfold, I love seeing them live, but the last three years or so I basically make it if I can. I don’t go out of my way to make sure I get tickets because I know I’m just going to get the same setlist I’ve seen the last 3 years but with 3-4 new songs added in. Very refreshing and nice to see.
Comment by zapuda August 31, 2011 @ 12:19 pmSo I have a question, Miss DBN. Any news on whether or not the rescheduled show in Dallas (Grand Prairie) will follow the same guidelines when it comes to their set? Like for example will they have the same setup as the Uproar shows seeing as this wasn’t originally an Uproar show..?
Comment by Holly August 31, 2011 @ 2:51 pmI would think that they will use the same stage/set list setup as they are now.
Comment by deathbatnews August 31, 2011 @ 3:05 pmMmk, thank you ma’am! :)
Comment by Holly August 31, 2011 @ 6:33 pmOh! And one more for ya, do you happen to know which bands are opening..?
They’re all listed on the Rockstar Uproar website under “Details” of your tour date.
Comment by deathbatnews August 31, 2011 @ 6:47 pmOh okay, cool. Thank you!
Comment by Holly August 31, 2011 @ 7:03 pmCrossing my fingers they play Seize the Day at my show!
Comment by Lindseyy:) August 31, 2011 @ 3:11 pm+All the other ones they never play ^.^ (But esp. seize the day)
Words cannot express how amazing they were last night in Boston! Such a good setlist so amazed they paly Not ready to die critical acclaim and scream 3 of my favorites! be jealous!
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 4:29 pm1 and 4 are of the same nature!
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 8:06 pmPretty disappointing that they are already duplicating setlists…
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 8:09 pmSame guy and same set from 8/26. Sure thats alright?
Comment by Weber August 31, 2011 @ 8:11 pmSame girl and yes I’m sure because it’s my good friend who attended tonight.
Comment by deathbatnews August 31, 2011 @ 8:12 pmOk, Just checking. At least they played second heartbeat again
Comment by Weber August 31, 2011 @ 8:18 pmi was at both shows as well the did play the same songs.
Comment by Brian September 1, 2011 @ 2:03 amOuch. That sucks depending on how you look at it.
Comment by Mike September 1, 2011 @ 2:18 pmsame setlist as Camden. if my projections are correct, theyre going to alternate the 2 different setlists every date and I can figure out the setlist for my city.
Comment by Alyssa Hernandez August 31, 2011 @ 8:14 pmSo it seems like they are rotating three different set lists this tour. Interesting.
Comment by Mesa (@Lost_Mesa) August 31, 2011 @ 8:16 pmIt seems that way, but they’ll have to be at least 4 setlists this tour cause they havent played Dear God yet.
Comment by DRHa7x August 31, 2011 @ 8:27 pmI think there will be a fourth as they still haven’t played Dear God yet.
Comment by Anonymous August 31, 2011 @ 10:23 pmSame setlist as night 1? lol
Comment by DRHa7x August 31, 2011 @ 8:26 pmDon’t forget Dear God hasn’t been played yet!
Comment by Mike August 31, 2011 @ 8:27 pmDear God was one of the top 20 songs that were voted? o_O
Comment by Gabby7x August 31, 2011 @ 9:33 pmYeah, surprisingly. Honestly Dear God was awful live.
Comment by Mike September 1, 2011 @ 12:11 pmAgreed lol. That song is garbage.
Comment by Drew September 1, 2011 @ 9:33 pmI have a feeling they might have scrapped Dear god. It looks to me like a 3-set tour. And the ones that are already up there are just going to repeat.
Comment by Josh September 1, 2011 @ 9:18 amDC and Camden got the same set list…and a damn good set list at that :)
Comment by kathryn August 31, 2011 @ 8:29 pmThey’re gonna duplicate the set lists because the pyro guys have to know what they’re doing and this is the best way to make sure the show goes off without a hitch.
Comment by Skeet Chief August 31, 2011 @ 8:40 pmI agree but something is telling me that this will change..i dont know.. You are most likely correct
Comment by paul walnuts August 31, 2011 @ 9:19 pmpaulie wally!
Comment by Skeet Chief September 1, 2011 @ 7:09 pmMy heart sank when I saw the setlist for today. It’s the same as the 26th one. I was hoping they would add atleast 1 new song each date… oh well. Still seeing them!!
Comment by Agustin August 31, 2011 @ 8:55 pmthe theme is that each night starts with “Nightmare” and ends with “A Little Piece of Heaven”, “Bat Country”, and “Unholy Confessions”. Those songs must have a lot of pyro or some sort of special effects. Loves it. (sorry if someone already pointed this out).
Comment by Heather September 1, 2011 @ 1:21 amOoooh my God.. M.I.A.? Chapter Four? Second Heartbeat? I Won’t See You Tonight?…… M.I.A?!?!?!
Jesus I wish I’d live in America… Daaaamn…
Comment by Mainy September 1, 2011 @ 2:30 amBased on the 4 shows already played, this looks like a 3-set template tour. So by the time it comes to detroit I’m assuming they’ll be using set #3 which was the one they used in boston because the one after that is exactly the same as the first. But I could be wrong. I’m tracking this lol.
Comment by Josh September 1, 2011 @ 9:06 amI’m coming to detroit too :D
Comment by Agustin September 1, 2011 @ 7:19 pmI actually hope you’re right, cause i’d get #3 aswell and so far thats the setlist I love the most.
Comment by Caulin September 1, 2011 @ 7:28 pmThough they haven’t played Dear God yet…so I still think its still random.
All I know is
Nightmare, Welcome to the Family, Afterlife, A Little Piece of Heaven, Bat Country, and Unholy Confessions seem to be played every night since they are all in the top 5 voted (except Welcome to the Family).
if they do the 1,2,3…1,2,3…That would give Detroit the first setlist. Seeing tonights setlist will give us a better idea if the repeat was planned or a coincidence. I hope it is the latter.
Comment by Anonymous September 1, 2011 @ 7:58 pmI thought the same thing! But tonight setlist was completely different so I don’t see that theory being correct anymore
Comment by Aaron September 1, 2011 @ 9:24 pmi really want them to do either dancing dead or warmness on the soul
Comment by ktdlovesa7x September 1, 2011 @ 3:06 pmDude same here..
Comment by Agustin September 1, 2011 @ 7:18 pmYou won’t get those, they weren’t even close to the top 20…
Comment by Drew September 1, 2011 @ 10:49 pmOmg! Im as excited as i was for the may dallas concert! :D i hope they Critical Acclaim & God hates us:D
Comment by Dean September 1, 2011 @ 7:28 pmI guess tonights show kinda proved to us that they wont be playing just 3 different setlists all tour lol
Comment by DRHa7x September 1, 2011 @ 8:06 pmSo the new setlist was the old norm. with God Hates Us being replaced by Second Heartbeat; but this is good! Now we know they aren’t just using three set-lists.
Comment by Mike September 1, 2011 @ 8:07 pmso im guessin every night thier gunna close with the same 3 songs
Comment by mark September 1, 2011 @ 8:27 pmWell now I have no clue what they will be playing in Grand Rapids! But I guess that will make the show 10x better, not knowing the setlist before hand!
Comment by TJP September 1, 2011 @ 8:28 pmouch, pretty weak performance song wise tonight lol
Comment by Anonymous September 1, 2011 @ 9:34 pmUm.. How so?
Comment by Linds September 1, 2011 @ 9:59 pmonly song they dont usually play was second heartbeat
Comment by Anonymous September 2, 2011 @ 6:52 pmI almost died when I saw the Sept 1 setlist…. are they even gonna add new songs?
Comment by Agustin September 1, 2011 @ 9:40 pmI’m surprised dear god hasn’t made it on yet… They’ve got plenty of dates left though. This is cool though, I like how you never know what you’re gonna get. So suspenseful.. Lol
Comment by Linds September 1, 2011 @ 9:55 pmThey let us vote on songs so we don’t get a repeat performance, songs get voted that they haven’t done in awhile, but they keep choosing to play the same setlist over and over…why even let us vote? 3 out of the 5 set lists pretty much suck (meaning most of us have seen the same show the last several times seeing them) and its just disappointing. I love this band to death and this is the only criticism i can give them. Its really starting to get on my nerves.
2010 Uproar
Nightmare After Christmas (aka 2010 Uproar pt.2)
Welcome To The Family (aka 2010 Uproar pt.3)
Battlecreek MI (aka 2010 Uproar pt.3)
2011 Uproar (hopefully not 2010 Uproar pt.4)
Yes, I’ll have a good time either way…but looking back on all the same shows over and over is disappointing. And spare me the “don’t go then” comments. Im just typing what everyone else is thinking….and just felt the need to rant a little :) My tone with the whole thing isn’t too serious
Comment by Anonymous September 2, 2011 @ 12:14 amOk I get what you’re saying and I agree in some sense. I think if it had been said that songs like nightmare, unholy confessions, afterlife would be on each setlist, more songs they never play would’ve made it on the top 20 list. But that didn’t happen, and they’re going with the top 20 that was voted for.. Like they said they would. There is atleast one “new song” in each setlist. Yes some sets are the same but that shouldn’t matter unless people are going to multiple uproar shows, in which case it’s luck of the draw.
Comment by Linds September 2, 2011 @ 6:40 amBesides, not everyone has seen them millions of times. And some, like me unfortunately, haven’t seen them once yet.. So I’d be happy with anything they played.
There are still plenty of fans who are going to want to hear the same songs.
Comment by Ruth September 4, 2011 @ 3:30 pmThey play what they know will get the crowd going, no point in playing songs some of the crowd might not know so well, it’s going to annoy some people but to be honest. They can do what they want, and we will still go see them. They could play the same set they did when I saw them last october and I wouldn’t care because I would have the time of my life.
I wish they would just do what Metallica does only on a smaller scale and at least learn all of their songs so they can pull out anything on any given night. I loved the fan vote thing, but they kind of sabotaged it when they reset the vote when the same people voted too many times. Those were the songs we really wanted to hear. I have to agree with the guy who said Iove this band, but this is my biggest criticism because it’s an easy one to fix.
Comment by cd September 2, 2011 @ 5:12 amGod Hates Us! God Hates Us, God Hates Us, God Hates Us, Danger Line, Demons and God Hates US!!!!!!! Dear Avenged, I a 12 year old who is siked about your music! cant wait ill see you in NM Oct.7th! i am a drummer i got up on stage to drum with Rick Springfield. I hope i can be your drummer someday!
Comment by Devon September 2, 2011 @ 2:57 pmwell, they pretty much have a permanent drummer now…hahh
Comment by Skeet Chief September 3, 2011 @ 8:06 pmi would like this if it was facebook hahaha
Comment by ryan September 4, 2011 @ 3:50 amEveryone should remember that arin wasn’t with them when they recorded and toured with these songs on previous albums, he would have to not only learn but be tour ready with these songs, just the fact that they’re playing some old ones is awesome enough, they didn’t have to do this, it was a gift to the fans so to complain about it is kinda shitty
Comment by AJ September 3, 2011 @ 1:49 amSame setlist as Scranton, PA?
Comment by DRHa7x September 3, 2011 @ 8:17 pmWe got Chris Jericho for Bat Country in Tampa!
Comment by Josh K September 3, 2011 @ 8:23 pmWhat do you mean you got Chris Jericho? was he there? if he was, awesome! lol
Comment by DRHa7x September 3, 2011 @ 8:41 pmYep. He got onstage and sang Bat Country with them.
Comment by Dee September 3, 2011 @ 9:58 pmHe screwed up the lyrics bahaha! I have video, look for it on the Tube. Chris Jericho lives local btw.. but no idea how or why he hooked up with the guys
Comment by Mydnight September 4, 2011 @ 11:27 amThey started repeating setlists.. fuck no :/
Comment by OddY September 3, 2011 @ 8:33 pmNo new songs for Tampa…. wow. I’m loosing hope. Oh well, I’m still seeing them the 9th.
Comment by Agustin September 3, 2011 @ 8:39 pmI hope people can understand why some of these set-lists need to be duplicated. There’s no way that everyone could keep their intricate production (lights, pyro, etc.) spot on if they were switching up every single song every single night. There’s really no need to complain about it.
Comment by Cal September 3, 2011 @ 8:57 pmPeople saying that A7X will need to duplicate setlists because of the lights and pyro. Then how does Metallica not duplicate setlists?
Comment by DRHa7x September 3, 2011 @ 9:14 pmMetallica has a LOT more money to spend on that sort of thing and whenever I have seen them it has never seemed that intricate. On another note Metallica has to teams. One that goes to the city they are playing in that night and another goes to the one for the next day to set up and get prepared
Comment by Cheek September 4, 2011 @ 9:20 amDoesn’t look like dear god is going to pop up there :( such a shame. I hope they do I Won’t See You Tonight or Not Ready To Die when they come to clarkston.
Comment by Josh September 3, 2011 @ 10:10 pmno dear god yet, wtf
Comment by Gabriel September 4, 2011 @ 7:17 amThat’s one of the main reason why hard rock shows will never play big venues here in the states. Like said earlier, Metallica will go out playing for two hours and twenty minutes with a different set list every night. Hopefully A7X will one day reach that status, remember they are with a new drummer and metallica is 18 years older as band then they are. Until then, any live performance that you get to see be grateful for.
Comment by Joe Snyder (@thelegendofdirt) September 4, 2011 @ 8:31 amTo add to this, they’re also under strict curfew laws in each state (plus put in place by organizers). In most places you CANNOT play past 11pm and if you’re going on at 9:40 that’s going to limit you.
Comment by Cal September 5, 2011 @ 10:35 amwhy don’t we all just bitch and moan and groan some more. we are all lucky they still choose to tour and bring awesomeness to our days. some of us fans are fans because we love their music, no matter how many times we hear it. ninety percent of their shows will be the same-let’s get over it and move on. if you can’t stand hearing “Afterlife” or “Unholy Confessions” again, don’t buy the freaking tickets!!!
Comment by LittleMissRESENTMENT September 4, 2011 @ 8:32 amLol I’m pretty sure next to none of the old school fans wanted to hear Dear God… ;)
Comment by dcafwriting September 5, 2011 @ 12:07 amBut I know what you’re saying. It’s pretty sad that out of the top 20 songs, 13 of them were singles.
It’s actually extremely surprising to me that ONLY 13 of them were singles. You have to consider who the main group of voters are for a poll like that, the mainstream fans. It’s nice that you want to hear songs like ‘Darkness Surrounding’ or ‘Eternal Rest’, but unfortunately there are probably 3-4 million people that didn’t, and it wouldn’t make sense for them to play songs that the minority of the crowd wants to hear.
Comment by Mullet September 6, 2011 @ 7:03 amUm… the band has released 15 singles total; the ones that didn’t make it were Burn It Down and Warmness on the Soul. And that was pretty predictable, honestly.
Comment by Mike September 6, 2011 @ 8:13 pmI’m so glad that I’m going to this show twice!
Comment by Matt LaFleur September 4, 2011 @ 5:44 pmhey DBN, any chance you could pin this to the top of the blog so its easier to get to?
Comment by Greg September 5, 2011 @ 12:17 amThere is a link to it in the column to the left under the Uproar graphic.
Comment by deathbatnews September 5, 2011 @ 12:56 amAww biloxi got the setlist I wanted them to play at my show. :( Its okay tho, at least I was lucky enough to see them again. :)
Comment by Dianna September 5, 2011 @ 1:30 amIs anyone else worried about getting stuck with the “Normal/Regular” setlist that they played on 9/1? It’s like a bad lottery number that anyone could get. I’ve seen that setlist 4 times so far while they’ve been touring for Nightmare
Comment by steve September 5, 2011 @ 9:05 amNot at all. The “Normal” setlist you’re complaining about is awesome. They’re playing Chapter Four and Second Heartbeat, which are two outstanding songs (and I’ve never seen Chapter Four before), and I’ll eat my right shoe if I ever get tired of seeing Buried Alive and all of that pyro. Three times, and I’m still crossing my fingers that they play it in Denver this year. :D
Comment by dcafwriting September 5, 2011 @ 11:07 pmThat is true, although they didn’t play chapter four at the date I was talking about. I’m hoping for either the M.I.A. set or the Second Heartbeat/Chapter Four set in Chicago :)
And that’d be very impressive if you could eat your right shoe
Comment by steve September 6, 2011 @ 8:30 amWhat’s really sad is that it seems like there is a lot of complaining going around about what songs they’re playing or what set-list people are getting and I have to wonder if we’re missing the bigger picture here. The guys are trying to mix things up and give the fans, both old and new, some of the songs they wanted to hear. There is no way they can make everyone happy, but they’re trying to do something different. We should be thankful they are doing this tour and that we actually get to see them. They could, at any time, decide that their time as Avenged is over and they’re going to move on to other things. Hell, they’re taking a break soon that could last months, or years, or they could never come back from, it all depends on what happens once they start this break. Personally, I don’t care if I see the same set-list over and over a million times, there’s nothing like standing in the crowd while they’re on stage, being a part of that family, that community and that experience. Yeah, I love when I get songs that aren’t on all the set-lists I’ve seen before, but I’m so happy to actually be seeing them on stage the set-list doesn’t matter nearly as much. You’re always going to want something more or something else out of the set-list, you’ll never get every song you want to hear, but they’re trying to give us some of what we want, lets just be thankful for them playing and making an effort to listen to what we want to hear too!
Comment by Elin September 5, 2011 @ 10:26 amwell said. where’s the “like” button, LOL!
Comment by LittleMissRESENTMENT September 5, 2011 @ 9:42 pmI completey agree with you!!
Comment by Anne September 5, 2011 @ 11:36 pmAww man Biloxi got the setlist I was shooting for in Grand Prairie! Hopefully they’ll play it then too, definitely wanna see I Won’t See You Tonight Pt.1, Not Ready To Die, and Scream c:
Comment by YetiJr. September 5, 2011 @ 12:02 pmi just wanna hear god hates us!
Comment by Dean September 5, 2011 @ 3:12 pmwtf damn it wish chris jericho was at my date. )=
Comment by Diane September 5, 2011 @ 8:46 pmStrength of the World would be amazing. Also Sidewinder, Burn It Down, And All Things Will End, Clairvoyant Disease, and Desecrate Through Reverence.
Comment by Joshua White September 5, 2011 @ 10:33 pmSidewinder is the definition of Avenged’s ability to take a song and morph it, twist it, and say F*** You to the “norm” way of rock song production, i mean they go from a flippin hard rock feel to a strait up Latino rock feel, its great. :)
Comment by Danny Sidewinder Edson September 6, 2011 @ 7:43 amI saw Avenged twice last year, once on Uproar and the other in Vegas (last show with Portnoy). The second time I saw them, they played all the same songs, but also included Bat Country, Seize the Day, and Walk. Just those 3 extra songs that they played made the entire show seem like I was seeing them for the first time. Most of the people here have probably not seen Chapter Four, Second Heartbeat, MIA, I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1, etc. live. So trust me when I tell you just seeing 2-3 of those songs that you’ve never seen before (on top of the amazing ones that you might have already seen) will make it a very refreshing, entertaining experience, regardless of what songs they turn out to be.
Comment by Mullet September 6, 2011 @ 7:00 amJericho’s just weird lol, but hes a big A7X fan and he loves The Boyz so you have to give him so credit :)
Comment by Danny Sidewinder Edson September 6, 2011 @ 7:40 ami am pumped to see what the band pulls for a set list tomorrow, since it is not uproar and they will probably play 12-13 songs including an encore.
Comment by otis September 6, 2011 @ 9:01 pmThey have yet to play Dear God, even though it’s in the top 20 songs they are suppose to play….
Comment by Kell Leverett (@KellShadows) September 7, 2011 @ 11:01 pmYeah I know, I’m surprised. Starting to think they scratched it for some reason like other people were saying… not sure why though. I think it’s a good song, but that’s just me.
Comment by Linds September 9, 2011 @ 6:21 pmlol I’m so okay with them scratching it. I saw it live back in ’09, and honestly it came off as lackluster. Definitely a low point to their set list that night. It’s okay on the album (far from my favorite, but oh well), but live it just lacks the oomph to really make an impact. Songs like IWSYT Part 1 and Seize the Day are much better for mid-set slow songs, because they bring a level of excitement and musical proficiency that Dear God simply lacks. IMO, of course.
Comment by dcafwriting September 10, 2011 @ 12:50 amYeah I don’t know, you might be right. I’ve only seen a video on YouTube. Wasn’t too bad, but definitely not as emotional as I won’t see you tonight and sieze the day.
Comment by Linds September 11, 2011 @ 6:07 pmI just think it’s strange they’d scratch it when it did make the top 20 and not mention it, you know? But oh well. Uproars not over yet anyways.
Mmhmm, we’ll see. I’m actually a little nervous that halfway through the tour they’re gonna replace IWSYT or something with Dear God and I’ll catch it on the Denver date lol… ;)
Comment by dcafwriting September 12, 2011 @ 5:01 pmWow.. for the non-uproar date, they played Chapter Four, M.I.A., A Little Piece of Heaven and Save Me. My dream setlist.
Comment by Anonymous September 7, 2011 @ 11:06 pmWow 12 songs I hope we get that in the 9th of oct!!!!
Comment by Juan g September 7, 2011 @ 11:13 pmdallas show=greatest thing ever. like holy shit, that trumps the other 3 times i’ve seen them this touring cycle by like 100000000.
Comment by otis September 7, 2011 @ 11:17 pmWow, now THAT really topped off a good setlist. Personally, I’d like them to use that set for the next DVD. Just replace Seize with So Far Away and squeeze in Buried Alive somewhere. ;)
Comment by Mike September 8, 2011 @ 3:47 amman, the show in dallas was f”n amazing!!!!!!!!! I’m more in love with avenged sevenfold then ever!!!!!! The wait was wayyyyyyyyyya worth it!!!!
Comment by Dean September 8, 2011 @ 7:16 pmGrand Prarie got such a sweet setlist!
Comment by francyA7X September 9, 2011 @ 7:59 pmNo We Come Out At Night ‘coz people got too carried away on requesting songs they always play.
Not complaining though. Great sets.
Comment by Alfie September 9, 2011 @ 9:01 pmNO ONE CAN TOUCH US !!!!!!!!
Comment by K7X September 10, 2011 @ 7:00 amSuch a great cd. I was happy with the show in Tampa. Truly love Waking the Fallen. Can’t wait to see them again.
Comment by Tina Prescott September 10, 2011 @ 4:55 pmIt was so awesome to hear stuff from “Waking The Fallen” It was truly AMAZING! I can’t think of any other show in the world I would rather see!! I would have loved to see “Seize The Day” and “I Won’t See You Tonight Pt. 1 or 2” But I will never complain!!! “Chapter Four” “Second Heartbeat” and “A Little Piece Of Heaven” Just made my Night! I have been lucky enough to see em twice in 6 months….it just can’t get any better!! Houston was a Great show! <3 Much Love
Comment by Dori September 10, 2011 @ 8:25 amjust wondering was Lost + Natural Born Killer on the top 20? my guess no..
Comment by Anonymous September 10, 2011 @ 10:45 pmNope.
Comment by deathbatnews September 11, 2011 @ 7:09 amIt´s fucking awesome!!!! I hope they bring it to Europe!! I can´t wait to see them live again.
Comment by Shiwet September 11, 2011 @ 7:12 amI was at the Buffalo show on the 10th and it was awesome!! I love every song they play live and don’t care if I have heard it every time I see them live. This was my 3rd A7X show in a year. I was so excited they played IWSYT pt1, NRTD and I was most excited they played Scream! I totally voted for that one and they kicked ass. Another amazing unforgettable show!
Comment by Kelly September 12, 2011 @ 6:17 amI LOVE YOU AVENGED SEVENFOLD!!!!!!
Comment by Anonymous September 12, 2011 @ 10:18 amso matt hasn’t performed ‘go alone’ with hell or highwater yet??
Comment by francyA7X September 12, 2011 @ 11:54 ami hope im gonna have the setlist with chapter four and second heathbeat tomorrow in montreal !!! :D
Comment by mathieu September 12, 2011 @ 4:28 pmTOMORROW!! <3
Comment by iAmALuckyGirl! September 12, 2011 @ 7:22 pmI want Chapter Four, So far away, Nightmare, Welcome to the family, Save me, Afterlife, Bat country, Unholy confessions, Dear god, Seize the day, I won't see you tonight, Gunslinger(wth nobody talks about that song??), MIA, Critical Acclaim, Almost easy, A little peace of heaven(miam), Scream, Beast and the harlot, Crossroads.
Guess I have an excuse to go see an a7x's show again mouhahah.
BTW, Rest in peace, The rev <3
Saw the boys tear it up in Hartford 9/11/11. Great show once again from A7X! That was my 4th A7X concert since the 2010 Uproar Tour in Saratoga. It was quite a treat to hear Chapter Four, Seize The Day and M.I.A. each for my first time live.
Comment by Anonymous September 13, 2011 @ 6:51 pmI’m driving 7 hours to the Indianapolis show this Saturday, just in hopes of hearing Second Heartbeat and/or Chapter 4. If this is the one show they don’t play either of those, I think I’ll cry. But seriously, I’ve seen them 5 times already, and I’ve never heard either of those songs live.
Comment by Chelsea September 14, 2011 @ 7:50 pmWell, chances are you’ll see at least Chapter Four, since it’s on two of the three main set lists they’ve been playing. And, well, if you don’t get either of those, you’ll be getting IWSYT Part 1 and Not Ready to Die :D
Comment by dcafwriting September 14, 2011 @ 8:01 pmThe only new song i heard from TO was M.I.A. Loved it.
Comment by Avenger3092 September 15, 2011 @ 1:02 amI was really hoping for I Won’t See You Tonight Part I. =(
Not Ready to Die too!
Dbn tell me if I’m wrong but wasnt dear god in the top 20? There have been quite a few concerts now and it is yet to be played…
Comment by Nik September 15, 2011 @ 12:08 pmYes it was. However, I think they nixed it for the other three ballads.
Comment by deathbatnews September 15, 2011 @ 2:52 pmGot a question for DBN or anyone who can answer. Has Gates used that ridiculous mic stand yet? the skeleton being stabbed through the rib cage one hah
Comment by Skeet Chief September 15, 2011 @ 5:44 pmNope! However, it was never stated when he would start using it.
Comment by deathbatnews September 15, 2011 @ 5:50 pmoh, alright. Thanks!
Comment by Skeet Chief September 17, 2011 @ 9:09 pmNot Ready To Die would have been epic tonight in Indianapolis, but I was definitely glad to hear A Little Piece of Heaven! :D
Comment by Ariane O'Leary September 17, 2011 @ 11:06 pmLast night’s show in Chicago was great!! I have waited SOO unbelievably long to see them perform Chapter Four. The best part of Chapter Four was Matt’s Jimmy story. He said that when they wrote that song in his mom’s garage Jimmy came in and just said “I fucking dig this shit!”
Saw Second Heartbeat in its entirety this time too! During Taste of Chaos 08′ they played a shortened version of it. Matt made a comment saying “Two Waking the Fallen songs? This feels like Warped Tour all over again!”
Can’t wait to see them again…..for an eighth time lol
Comment by steve September 19, 2011 @ 3:10 pmDude, I’m pretty sure you just took the future words out of my mouth haha. I’ll be seeing them in Denver in October, and it’ll be my eighth time seeing them, too. And, like you, I’ve never seen Chapter Four and only saw the shortened version of Second Heartbeat on ToC ’08. (Though I’ll admit that I’ve got my fingers crossed for the IWSYT and NR2D setlist lol. I saw IWSYT back in ’07 and it blew me away; I’d kill to see it again haha)
Comment by dcafwriting September 20, 2011 @ 9:27 pmjust a quick suggestion may want to repost this again so its easier to locate. Cant wait to see them on Friday!!!!
Comment by Anonymous September 20, 2011 @ 5:27 pmThere is a link to the post on the left sidebar under the Uproar graphic.
Comment by deathbatnews September 20, 2011 @ 5:28 pmThe guys wore wigs throughout their entire set tonight in Grand Rapids. It was kind of funny because they never explained or acknowledged that they were even wearing them…very random. They made Arin dress more or less like a girl…haha
Comment by Anonymous September 20, 2011 @ 10:34 pm=( I had to miss River Riot this year and this is the year I wish I hadn’t. I LOVE that setlist. Oh well, maybe next year.
Comment by Kel September 24, 2011 @ 8:14 amWithout a doubt, Cleveland had the best setlist
Comment by Milan September 24, 2011 @ 12:45 pmOh please, PLEASE keep this rotation going. That would give me IWSYT and Not Ready to Die in Denver on October 5th… :D
Comment by dcafwriting September 24, 2011 @ 5:35 pmSo much for a “new set list every night”.
Comment by Anonymous September 26, 2011 @ 9:25 amJust another avenged tour, with 90% same songs. So they mix in a rare song or two. Still a letdown for me. Sure, a7x can leave it up to the fans, but don’t promise a new setlist every night. just promise 2 generic setlists that will be swapped every other night.
they’re rotating 3 setlists. That is a different setlist every night. Pow.
Comment by Skeet Chief September 26, 2011 @ 2:19 pmComplain a little more, why don’t you? They’re rotating three different sets, and each one has five different songs. The only songs getting played every night are Unholy, Bat Country, aLPoH, Afterlife, and Welcome to the Family.
Comment by Drew September 28, 2011 @ 3:17 pmI think ur absolutely right
Comment by Ansem October 6, 2011 @ 9:52 amnightmare opens everyshow too..
Comment by Anonymous October 8, 2011 @ 11:43 pmWhat was so “cut short” about last night?
Comment by Mike September 26, 2011 @ 12:56 pmThey didn’t play IWSYT1.
Comment by deathbatnews September 26, 2011 @ 2:25 pmThey still played 11 songs though.
Comment by Mike September 27, 2011 @ 1:08 pmBuried Alive took the place of IWSYT1. So yeah, there were 11 songs. I really wanted to see IWSYT1 though, but Buried Alive is one of my favorite songs so it’s ok. :)
Comment by JaCaria October 2, 2011 @ 9:39 amso… do people stll check this page? since we already know what their setlist is going to be…..
Comment by GibbZ September 29, 2011 @ 12:14 pmYou’d be surprised how many times it gets checked.
Comment by deathbatnews September 29, 2011 @ 2:20 pmYeah, I still check it often because they haven’t always stuck to the 1, 2, 3 rotation, and a couple shows have had different sets from those. Besides, my Denver show hasn’t happened yet and I’m too curious not to try to guess what they’ll play based on recent sets.
Comment by dcafwriting September 30, 2011 @ 9:28 amanyone else notice they havent played Dear God yet? lol it was in the top 20
Comment by Joshua September 30, 2011 @ 10:49 amWhat happened to I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1?!?!?! Why did they replace it with Buried Alive?? I really wanted to hear IWSYT, I don’t get why they got rid of it…
Comment by Sean October 2, 2011 @ 3:40 pmit’s possible people weren’t really responding to it at the shows. that’s probably why they wont play dear god. it got nothing when i went back in 08
Comment by dar October 6, 2011 @ 4:42 amMaybe at others but at my show the entire crowd went nuts when it was started and sang every word.
Comment by deathbatnews October 6, 2011 @ 4:45 amIt may be to promote the song beforee they release it as a single but hopefully they will bring back IWSYT for the Buried Alive Tour
Comment by Jeremy October 6, 2011 @ 6:21 amAmazing concert in Denver last night! I *love* how much these guys love to have fun on stage with the fans and each other – not to mention INCREDIBLE talent!!! : D
Comment by Anonymous October 6, 2011 @ 6:53 amTo be honest I’m not really all that excited I mean don’t get me wrong I’m a hiuge a7x fan but I. Was expecting a lil more variety in the lists
Comment by Ansem October 6, 2011 @ 9:46 amA7X was bad ass.. perfect set list for me.. they should of played longer though.. and the rest of the day sucked due to comfort dental amplitheater and the way the screwed up every little detail of the entire day! fucking assholes!
Comment by Jeff Bradley October 6, 2011 @ 10:33 amThree tour dates left and still no Dear God. I’m convinced they’ll never play it.
Comment by Anonymous October 9, 2011 @ 7:47 amI hope they don’t play I tonight. They have way better songs than that one. It’s gonna b a blast tonight can’t wait!!!!
Comment by Juan G October 9, 2011 @ 9:52 amThey suck at playing Dear God. Matt never sounded good singing it live and half of the guitars are canned and not even played live.
Comment by Mike October 9, 2011 @ 7:25 pmDBN, check out setlist.fm for the 10/2 show. :D
Comment by Mike October 9, 2011 @ 9:24 amLast night at the end of unholy confessions they play a bit of crossroads to end the show in a huge pit. They r so bad ass!!!!
Comment by Juan G October 10, 2011 @ 7:06 pmThey always do it.
Comment by Bitchy Avenged Fan October 16, 2011 @ 7:53 amsan diego was. fucking. EPIC!
Comment by Ryan Anderson October 10, 2011 @ 11:48 pmWhat’s going to happen with the December show of a7x? They didn’t show up to the last uproar show and we wanna see avenged!!! Any details??
Comment by Jesse October 15, 2011 @ 11:41 amDetails will be posted when information becomes available.
Comment by deathbatnews October 15, 2011 @ 12:31 pmWe didn’t get Chapter Four at the Sacramento show. They cut it to 10 songs for some reason :\
Comment by Anonymous October 15, 2011 @ 2:51 pmChapter Four was the song I was most looking forward to and they just skipped it for some reason. not sure why Sacramento only got 10 songs when everyone else got 11 songs.
Comment by Sean October 15, 2011 @ 3:27 pmI think they didn’t playchapter 4 cause Matt was sick so that’s why it was 10
Comment by Billy October 15, 2011 @ 10:17 pmYa I said the 10 songs they played I think they cut it to 10 bcuz Matt was sick :/
Comment by Billy October 15, 2011 @ 10:11 pmDBN….let me just say…
This has been the best birthday of my life.
I turned 18 today and nothing could have made it better than Avenged Sevenfold.
I’m so glad they chose to play IWSYT instead of SFA, even though Id have loved to see that too.
A7X are a power so strong that i started tearing up during it. Seeing the whole crowd clap their hands during the build in the middle of the song was overwhelming and so powerful.
I remember Shadows saying, “It’s fucking beautiful”
Best day ever.
Comment by pinkyandthesheep October 15, 2011 @ 11:28 pmHappy Birthday :)
Comment by deathbatnews October 15, 2011 @ 11:37 pmThank you :) It was such an amazing day.
Comment by pinkyandthesheep October 15, 2011 @ 11:43 pm48 hour festival was AMAZING!!! One of the best shows! I Wont See You Tonight Part 1 completely made my night!!
Comment by Caitlin October 15, 2011 @ 11:43 pmmine too! It made me tear up.
Comment by Thomas October 16, 2011 @ 1:18 amIt was amazing. So glad they chose to play that.
words cant express the disappointment in A7X not playing Mtn View.
Comment by Wrench Wench October 16, 2011 @ 1:41 amFor the 48 hours festival M.shadows tossed me the setlist- original And altered. Setlist was alt due to someone close to shadows at the concert making a song request.
Comment by Brian mohn October 16, 2011 @ 4:01 am
