After a very long night, I bring you the video of M Shadows talking about his hospital visit where he got an MRI after experiencing face paralysis going to and from the Walter Reed Hospital to visit injured troops. You can check that out below:

Man what a crazy night, they didn’t come on until around midnight… somehow trying to function at work but it was worth it!

But in the end we all know it was worth it to see Avenged again. Hopefully tonight’s show goes alot smoother. And maybe they will stick around after the show. On an added note it was sweet the Matt gave my friend April his hospital bracelet! Go April!

Comment by Sierra December 10, 2008 @ 12:09 pmLast night’s show was nothing but amazing once he got on that stage and they all came together. It’s the best that I’ve seen so far, but as I said last night, perhaps they should’ve taken the night off yet again (as it was the makeup of the canceled show on 9/07) and rested–I’d rather have him around more than just a few more tours. The guys are working themselves into the ground.
But, he did a wonderful job, they all did and the show was wonderful despite the wait and almost midnight start time.

After standing for 5 hours (no where to sit at Ram’s Head)and driving for 2 hours to get there(again), I would have been ticked off. Nobody knew what was going on until about 10:30 when Gates came out an said they would be on at 11:30 (by then then crowd was quite irritated). But, I will say it was worth the wait, they rocked!! Got home at 3:30 am on a weeknight, good thing I knew to take a personal day ahead of time.
Comment by Fred December 10, 2008 @ 1:02 pmi understand that it was a re-scheduled show, and us knowing shadows, did we really expect anything less? he put his health on the line for everyone last night. honestly if there were people at that concert last night that were STILL pissed AFTER Gates told everyone what was going on….thats bullshit. they are running themselfs into the ground as its was said above me. they NEED time off. and on that off chance he HAD canceled last night, it SHOULD be understandable, considering the circumstances.

If something like that is the reason they have to cancell a show (I dont care how many times) then the REAL fans would understand and not be mad…they would be more worried about his health! Comment by Alex December 10, 2008 @ 4:16 pmdbn, you need to make a separate post just for people to talk about how freakin amazing the baltimore show was tonight (dec. 10) they played the most ridiculosly wonderful set EVER, and matt’s voice sounded exactly like on CD or even better at times. he hit every single note FLAWLESSLY.

But he also has to pay more attention to his health than his fans because thats a number 1 thing alot of things can happen if he doesnt take care of his health but ima keep on praying for all of them so nothing could ever happen to them
