Avenged Sevenfold took a page from a few shows on their 2011 tour and pulled a fan from the audience in Hershey, PA to play lead guitar on “Unholy Confessions” with them! Check out the video below because Steve nails it! You can watch from a closer view here.

Avenged Sevenfold (and members) were crowned the winners of three 2014 Revolver Golden Gods Awards. The categories won include the previously announced Most Dedicated Fans, Best Drummer to Arin Ilejay and Dimebag Darrell Best Guitarist(s) to Synyster Gates & Zacky Vengeance. Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan was also honored in the Fallen Heroes tribute.
The 2014 Revolver Golden Gods will tape and stream live on Apr 23rd but at the Minneapolis, MN stop on the Shepherd Of Fire Tour Avenged Sevenfold filmed an acceptance speech for one of the seven awards they were nominated for. It’s clear the band won “Most Dedicated Fans” and after accepting the award M Shadows handed the trophy off to a very lucky fan from the audience. Talk about an awesome souvenir.

The 2014 Revolver Golden Gods have been announced and Avenged Sevenfold (and members) are nominated for seven awards including: Album Of The Year: Hail To The King, Best Vocalist: M Shadows, Dimebag Darrell Best Guitarist(s): Synyster Gates & Zacky Vengeance, Paul Gray Best Bassist: Johnny Christ, Best Drummer presented by Razor & Tie: Arin Ilejay, Song Of The Year presented by Randall Amplifiers: Hail To The King and Most Dedicated Fans. Voting is open now (or click individual voting links) and ends on April 4th, there is no limit on how many times you can vote. The show will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Apr 23rd; tickets will be available at 10AM on February 28th are available now here. Details on how fans can watch the show from home will be announced soon.
UPDATE: The Revolver Golden Gods Awards will tape on Apr 23rd and stream at VH1.com and on VH1’s mobile app OR Amazon.com/GoldenGods. An edited, 90-minute version will be televised on VH1 Classic at 8pm ET/PT on May 24th.
Avenged Sevenfold are nominated in three Bandit Rock Awards 2014 categories. They include “Best International Act,” “Best International Album” and “Best International Live Act.” Vote for the band in each category here. The three required fields are Name, City (you may use your actual city) and Age.
The People’s Choice 2014 Nominee Selections have been announced and Avenged Sevenfold are in the running to be nominated for “Favorite Alternative Band.” You can vote for the band here. You can vote until October 31st. Winners will be announced and voting for selected nominees will be begin on Nov 5th.

The band talk about their pinch me moments, the live DVD, their musical guilty pleasures which includes a fantastic story about Synyster Gates and Duran Duran, Splash Mountain Band, what the band listened to while in the studio, how the SoCal music scene has changed since Avenged Sevenfold began, Mr. Qantas, what songs they would like to play live that they haven’t yet and much much more.
